When younger people become old enough to vote and the older people die off? The republican party hasn't done anything to attract younger voters and they refuse to address the main concern of the people.

@@Nick-lx4fo I respectfully disagree. The two largest parties are democrats and republicans but there are other parties, e.g. the Green or the Libertarians. Many of us sway either to the democrat or republican party. However, the parties, especially the democrat party is not homogeneous. Perhaps that can be said of the republican party too. Example moderates will find a home in the democrat party even if they have some conservative type values and some republicans/independents will find a home in the republican party even if they have some items they are liberal on. Therefore younger people, I would argue, have available to them a wealth of information to make up their own minds. They will gravitate to the party that they best believe represents their interest even if it is not 100%. A study suggested for young people, they are concerned with climate, gun control, the pandemic, healthcare and financial stability. Young people are not the only ones susceptible to brainwashing. All non-analytical/critical thinking people are because they don't challenge the information they receive regardless of party. This has a lot to do with the informational bubbles we find ourselves in using social media.

@@analara9872 I am not surprised. Hillary won the popular vote by 3% and that is with half of the voting population choosing not to vote. That is not the case this time around. Trump has retained his supporters but he hasn't really attracted new ones. In fact, he has lost supporters. I am praying he will lose the popular vote by wide margins and then get some of the republican senate enablers out of office too.
