How the Start-X Remote Start works for 5th Gen 4Runners

A quick overview and my experience with the Start-X remote start for 5th Gen 4Runners that use a key.
Easy to install or uninstall. No app to pay for. Simple to use. Great for the really cold days or the really hot days.
This seems obvious but only use a remote starter when your car is parked outside.

Can you get in & drive away or is it going to turn itself off when you hit the brake to shift into reverse/drive?

If you remote start and get in without inserting the key and hit the brake, it will shut off.

Will the car start with any of the doors open?

Yes it will. If you have a door open and hit the lock button three times, the car will "beeeeeep" while you are using the remote start but will proceed to start and lock all the shut doors. Thanks for watching and commenting!

is there a way for the stop and marker light no to turn on when remote starting the car?

It might be possible to use Techstream to disable the lights but I have not tested this theory. Just know it will most likely turn the marker lights off for any and all key fob use
