Sad thing is that there was two professional comedians that worked together and that skit was what came out of it. Can you imagine how bad it would have been if Tom wrote his jokes and then Burt wrote his. Then we would all be sure that they are fake comedians that don’t write any material themselves selves. There material they came up with wasn’t even roast type of materials. A roast are supposed to be jokes that rip on the hosts weaknesses and are supposed to be edgy and relatable. A roast is not supposed to have skits, just jokes that are offensive. They are so non comics that they don’t even have a little talent in their being to know that isn’t what a roast is about. The regular non comedians had a better set than them. It’s pathetic too at how they are partnering up with each other because they both relate to each other being frauds of comedy that they probably think if they help each other out they will actually might get a coupl of laughs. I think I’ve heard them brag about how much money they make more than anything funny and original comedy out there mouth.

They are so negative that the larger group of people that actually have positive things to say just choose to stay quiet as they don’t want to have to engage with people that are negative about everything and anything. Here's something interesting I noticed during the roast. Jeff Ross gets offended when Andrew insinuates he's a pedophile. You can see it in the roast where after that joke lands Ross moves to the back seat. Then, after kevin hart gives Andrew praise for his set, Jeff tries to take his shine away and deflect praise back to Kevin Hart. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Ross was pissed with Andrew called him a pedo. There are even new articles and threads that reference that Ross was involved with a 15-year-old girl.

I hate how much Rogan has to bring up how great someone is as a person. I don't give shit if a comedian is a good person I actually prefer having no opinion of them outside their comedy. That's the problem with Rogan's toxic positivity of no busting on comedians. None of these guys would be able to deal with the Tough Crowd era of comics they would all shut down just being told they are stupid.

One of the funniest moments at the roast was not put on netflix. When Sam said Bert didnt do drugs, He littleraly pulled a huge bag of coke out his pocket. The crowd went nuts.

I been waiting to hear this from a comedic critic channel 🤣 the roast was good for the most part. Tom and Bert despite doing stadiums all the time choked hard! Andrew Schulz was mid, Nikki slayed like she always does and I thought Gronk did amazing too. I don’t watch football but he does look like a dumbass for sure and he’s not. Hinchliffe was good and I’m a roast fan so I’m all for Netflix because I want to see this genre make a return.

Whew! Glad I didn't waste 14 more minutes on this one. Thank you for exposing that you didn't know the whole show had to previously go through a staff of writers at Netflix about 6 minutes in to this one. It definitely was a risk for the Bart and Todd to agree to that format when asked to do a live roast of that guy that played a lot of football. All that money they make really made those rascals stop making me laugh

I watched the thing live after work after some drinks. I thought Nicki was great, Tony was great, Jeff Ross was as per usual good. I was dissapointed the two bears couldn't do their own sets and did some lame presentation that wasn't all that funny. I remember laughing at Schulz's set, but I might have been drunk in all honesty. It was just nice to see a roast for the first time in years.
