Should be named ...How the goverment stole the Walker Sisters 122 acre'right out from under them !" This is a true story of only one of the homesteads the Goverment wanted and when turned down by the owners, the goverment just took it. Just remember they can take whatever they want, anytime they want.

Well the sisters had already taken land that had belonged to indigenous tribes. So it just carries on. 😢

My family lived off the land when I was growing up. We had our own livestock also. That was a great way of life. Now you have to worry about what is in the food you eat. Never heard of too much sickness back then❤❤❤

Absolutely crazy how the governments can just come and swoop your hard earned peace from under you. Force you to conform and then ask themselves, "well, now what do we do with the place?" This world is wild.

The newspaper was not for wallpaper. It was used to cause any unwanted spirits to have to stop and read in turn confusing them so as to they’d leave. In some cases they may have used it for a type of insulation as well. :)

How deep the bond and love between these sisters must have been. To decide in favour of this path together. To go through life together, as sisters. In one place. Wonderful. I'd never heard of them before and now their story has touched me so deeply. It's lovely that they all end up sleeping next to each other, just as they have done all their lives ❤❤

If the government brought their land, they should have had a lot of money to spare. They didn't have bills to pay, so why did they have to sell things to make an income?

@sylviajones4907 I understand what you said. So, the narrator should not say that these sisters HAD to sell things (HAD in this sense implies a necessity or need) but rather they wanted to sell...

Hey wokies. You realize that before Europeans arrived that various tribes were enslaving and capturing and ending off other tribes? The peaceful life you woke idiots like to imagine before the “evil Europeans” came is NOT historical accurate. Same with the slave trade.

That is absolute B.S! When a private citizen buys land, the government should not be able to just go and take it whenever they want! Maybe us as the public should go and take the government land! There is a lot more of us than there is of them! 😤
