An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind, but when our society is so corrupt that justice isn't a guarantee, it is better to turn blind than to let the torment continue. No one deserves death. Except monsters like that man. I mean, how many more cases like this one have gone unnoticed or simply, ignored?! There's also a chance that this would never have come to light had it not been for the dad that killed him. Justice is served. But not always.. And that's the sad truth.

I think an eye for an eye is pretty good. Ok not an eye for an eye. But atleast a easy way of death for every rapist and murderer no torture. But it wont actualy be an eye for an eye. That would be too dificult. I think this system would clean the world. Every serial killer would like to be alive in a world that is this clean. Ok so this system purpose is to lower criminality. It does work. I dont think justice has ever happened on earth. I dont know if they deserve another chance. Ok they probably both deserve anther chance. I respect the fathers choice. Are you nuts? Castration I would guess is almost always equal to the capital punishment ( death actually) if u're culture or govt does not recognize death no surprise you dislike or disgust death. If you have castration go for it. Because imprisonment isn't enough. If you dislike an eye for eye since it's olden there's a newer version it's the golden rule. I guess the man used an easier way out for his friend a quick death. Also he was killed inspite he was a pedophile but because he raped an innocent victim.

Your own daughter being raped is like you being raped but thousand times much worse. I fully understand why he decided to kill his best friend. Usually, people said that killing won't solve anything and it will make you a murderer. Your feeling becomes numb after killing others, and you will continue to kill others without remorse. However, I believe the father in this scenario will definitely not kill someone else anymore, as his reason for killing is because he wants to protect his daughter. Hence, I think what he did is not wrong. I won't say it is right either, but I would also kill him if I were in his place.

Pedophile are different from actual killers. In a court, people don't be like" oh this guy is a piece of garbage, he should be killed for raping" and just go straight to the judgement like that, in the eyes of the law,you are a murderer, bright as day, and vigilante logic does not work that well in real life, you face actual consequences for what you have done. Yes it is upsetting that he got arrested, but lawfully, he was dead wrong, he could have just get the guy arrest and let the piece of crap rot, but he killed him and sadly, in a court, none of the comment supporting the dad would work, because at the end of the day, murder is murder, understandable, but the action is not justified. A life weights heavily is court, so it's not so simple that, oh he sucks anyway, deserved or anything like that. They will favor you for what this awful rapist does, but the moment you shed blood, you are dead lost. Sorry, but life doesn't work like that.

there was also such an incident which happened in my country. the father was a policeman, and he was most of the time living outside the town. when he came back, he noticed his daughter acting a bit odd, so when he confronted her she told him that her grandpa(maternal) was touching her the bad way. she was pretty young probably 10 yrs. the father straight of went to that pedo gramps and stabbed him to death. after killing that waste of space, the father went to the police station himself and admitted to his crime and is serving 20 yrs in prison instead of life imprisonment.

His reaction was understandable but doesn't justify it. Murder is murder. It's not like if he didn't kill him the criminal would have gotten away. He would have been punished anyway. And also, millions of murders happen in the world, among them a lot murderers are motivativated by reasons similar to this, NOW ARE U GONNA JUSTIFY ALL OF THEM?? As a mother of two little twin boys my heart goes out to the father. One of my son once climbed a fence made of bamboo in our village & before I could reach him to stop he fell down & hurt his head...I as a mother couldn't tolerate that...ran towards him & cried like a mad person...luckily the injury was not deep & he got well...now when I as a mother cannot take this kind of injury on my child's body how can a father take such an an injury...much more serious...rape...assault on his child's body & soul...That man...the rapist had assaulted many others before & would have gone to do even more...As a person I believe the father should not have taken law into his hands but as a parent I believe he did the right thing.

Well the quote at last: "An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind!" It will not actually leave the whole world blind but a better and more secure world for those with eyes. The benefits of "an eye for an eye" are far far more than "less than an eye for an eye". May Allah guide us all!!

The thing is, the justice system is often unjust and just leaves you helpless. People aren't getting the punishment they deserve and the victims just learn to be silenced because they learn that no one will actually care enough to serve justice. Obviously this doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often.

I agree. Some people think that killing his best friend for “JuSt AbUsInG hIs DaUgHtEr” is ridiculous, but we must look from his P.O.V. This man’s supposed “best friend” had just RAPED his daughter and will most likely leave the poor girl with life long trauma. The man was a disgusting pedo. He certainly won’t be missed and that father did the right thing. Most of us here including me don’t know what it’s like to be a parent, but the least we can do is imagine the son/daughter to be like siblings or parents or other close relatives except you want to protect your child 2 or 3x more. He wanted to avenge his daughter and that man is a hero for saving the children of that village

In some situations the emotions in a person become uncontrollable just like here the dad's anger became. Well in my perception every rapist deserves a death punishment and here the victim was the man's own daughter. I think that dad should be not given any charges as he was very raged about what happened. Moreover, the wounds that we get from someone whom we trusted our whole life, are way more deeper and painful. That was my perception on this controversial topic
