Patricia Mutie knows what it means to work at any level despite their degrees...
She was able to make humble investments with the money I earned as a Housekeeper in Dubai. Worked in some of the great hotels there and was fortunate to grow from an information agent to a Director of Operations.
She is one of the few Kenyans to have held leadership positions in Dubai and she is sharing her experiences with those seeking to pursue careers out there in order to encourage them to pursue their dream

This lady is brilliant 👏 👌. She's dropping nuggets left right centre ....its up to us to pick-up or toss it. Her positive attitude is a breathe of fresh-air. She could even run courses on Customer Services....which is non-existent in Africa. Welldone Lynn for bringing her to the stage... This lady is simply incredible 😍 👏

@@WhiskerWander3r Welldone sister 👏 . Africa needs Customer Services etiquette big time. Also, its worth teaching Africans: First-come, first-serve regardless whether the person on the line is black or white. A lot of Africans still have the colonial enslavement and worshipping, I might add..

This touches me, i was once a cleaner and I always longed one day i will be an accountant. I felt so bad because my fellow staffs, customers and even superiors looked down upon me just because of my job. staffs could just make the floor dirt so that I can always keep on cleaning.. I enrolled and did CPA part time I thank Almighty God am now a CPAK holder and an Accountant in a different organization.

So inspiring.. if you’re abroad, always remember what you’ve sacrificed just to be there. Not being close to your parents, siblings, relatives and just your comfort zone. I mean.. there has to be an achievement difference and a concrete one as to why you’re not home. Anyone who’s never thought like this.. it’s high time to reevaluate and get a perspective💚.

I started as a housekeeper in 2020. Having stayed at home for seven years with no work. Today I'm Co-Founder in the same business. Having invested a resource that many do not know the value of. TIME. God! I wish more people would introspect and stop concentrating on what others will say. What you need is in you. My journey started with that question. What do I have at hand? God bless you, Lynn and I hope to meet this lovely lady one day.

This is beautiful inspirational journey my fellow KUC Alumni Pat. Thank you for highlighting our Utalii Alumni Welfare group, our covid baby, indeed was a divine idea which has reconnected so many of us and together, we are a strong pillar which everyone needs as they age. Lynn, I love your shows and I would love to hear your journey too.
