How To: 2015+ Ford F150 XLT iPad Mini Dash Conversion

In this video I'll show you how to convert any 2015+ F150 for an iPad Mini using a Retro Customz dash kit. This specifically focuses on XLT models that lack climate controls on the factory touchscreen and the changes you must make for that to function.
Pretty sure this same procedure will work with F250/350's also.

Now if you trim the plastic from the mother board and you want to switch it back over to the oem part will it still clip in correctly?

Did the climate control buttons on the bottom of the new bezel work?

I have long since sold this truck, but if I remember correctly only the fan speed buttons worked, seat buttons did not work because this was an XLT.

Did you ever check and see if you lose the heated seats?

You do, however I believe it can be wired to work on some aftermarket switches. Will look into that soon.

Guyl Pechmagre no unfortunately it doesn’t. There isn’t a solution just yet, but people are working on it
