I’ve been mounting my iPad Pro like this for years. I love the fact that you don’t have to take your case off, because you can mock up the holders to fit almost any size. Just make sure the depth of the holders are wide enough, and make sure they don’t cover the charging port . I just hop in my car drop the iPad in and we are good to go. I love the sound the iPad makes when you drop it into the mount. I drilled my into the radio surround housing for extra sturdiness. The whole setup was like $25 bucks including the 4 black screws I used and the 6ft hide away charging cable. All parts came from Amazon. It makes everything much easier if your radio has Bluetooth and you have steering wheel controls. I have a Wi-Fi+data iPad Pro so I can use all the features and I use google offline maps to save data. Also the best part is, if you ever change the size of the iPad, all you would have to do is readjust the holders. If you bought the iPad dash kit, you’d have to buy a whole new kit to fit your new iPad. One last big thing, it’s great to have the holders and not the dash kit because if you leave your iPad in the car on a super hot day, with the holders you can take your iPad out and slid it somewhere out of the sun super quick because you don’t have to put the iPad case back on. With the dash kit, your iPad would over heat from time to time causing you to have to wait until it cooled down before use, and if you wanted to take the iPad out of the dash kit and put it away, you would have to put the case back on every time to keep the iPad from getting scratched .

I personally used those steelie magnet mounts. An those work great when alligned perfect. But thats the problem, when setting up 4. it is very time consuming. This is nice and quick.

This is insane bro I’m getting it right now! I just saved me 150 dlls and a headache installing it 😂 only thing I have to worry about is the hotspot ill have to give the iPad from my cellphone service lol but that’s another story
