I just fitted one of these to my 2022 Monkey. Easiest way I found was to remove the injector with hose attached, from the manifold. Remove the throttle cables, remove the complete throttle body / inlet manifold, and the assemble the new intake onto the manifold while on the bench. Fit the intake air temp sensor and connect the wiring to that sensor. Refit the complete manifold and intake assembly onto the engine. refit the injector, refit the throttle cables, and reconnect the wiring to the TPS and injector and last of all fit the new Air filter to the new intake. Trying to assemble it while still on the bike is way too difficult to get right. To add context to this I have in excess of 20 Honda Monkeys that are highly tuned and approximately 40 years working as a Mechanic. Very happy with the product, but the fitting instructions leave a bit to be desired, so I hope what I have written above helps someone fitting one of these intakes.

This install was a pain in the ass! I can do it much faster now, but it took way too long! A proper installation video would have prevented wasting a bunch of time! For the love of god help your future customers out and make a better installation video!

Budgeting for next year and honestly kinda suck at mechanical stuff compared to average rider... Does this have anything over the DNA dual exposed intake that you guys describe as an easy install on your website? Im wondering if I go DNA just to avoid the install nightmare... a veteran mechanic is saying it's harder than it should be.

What do we do with the second breather hose that is removed from the factory air box?

I cannot for the life of me get the air temp sensor installed and connected after getting the intake on. There is just no room to get the sensor onto the bracket and then plugged in.

Just got mine- so no issues with the sensor being outside ? I ride the bike off road every now and then-

Great video, but the install is a BITCH! So tight and getting the intake on the carb wasn't fun. It didn't want to go with that big O-ring that was included. Had to go with a tighter fitting O-ring and put a plastic razor blade between the half runners so it would slide on easier then pull the plastic out to tighten. Not a fun install, but you were the first to market with the intake so I went with it. Thanks for the video.
