7 easy steps to prepare your dry battery (Yuasa YTX14L)
Great advice from one of my subscribers (Ron): "when working with acid you should wear safety glasses as well as wear rubber gloves... motorcycle gloves will soak the acid and burn you worse... you should also have baking soda and or vinegar nearby to neutralize the acid... safety first."

Yuasa is the bomb... I use them in all of my sports equipment... 👍🏼 One suggestion, when working with acid you should wear safety glasses as well as wear rubber gloves... motorcycle gloves will soak the acid and burn you worse... you should also have baking soda and or vinegar nearby to neutralize the acid... safety first... it would really suck if acid was to splash in your eyes which could end your riding.

Very informative. The only battery video I’ve seen with all the details. I think I will get a new battery every two years even though I’ve not added any lights. So much on the Ryker electronics depends on a good battery.

I don't have mine yet, hopefully within the next 6 months I'll have the 2022 rally. I've been watching your vids since before ya had even a 1,000 subs. Your channel is extremely underrated. The way you show how everything is done is way better than some of the other channels. I truly believe that anyone who owns a ryker or plans on getting one should have your channel at the very least in their top 5 locked in and watch every vid you have. Great work! You deserve wayyyyyyy more subs than what ya have. Keep it up!

👍🦘 Very good & informative video Beth as usual, I am sure there would be many that would not have attempted to do their own battery change until watching this. If I can add one thing and I’m not trying to be a fuddy-duddy but wear eye protection & rubber type gloves, I have seen some minor spill over the years. If you do get some on you be near running water and wash it off straight away. Also great idea to talk to your dealership guy and get some tec info, well done.

hi beth, i will be getting a new battery soon. again you have done all the work for me. another thing,i got the front fender led strip lights and they worked for 2 days and quit so i started chacing wires and found out that the wires plug in to and outlet underaside cover below the gas door. well that plug is in the same circuit as the usb plug so it goes back to f3 fuse a 5 amp fuse so i fixed mine and made a note in my manual be cause its not mentioned anywhere that i saw .don ,know if you care. but it will come in handy someday and thanks for all the tips they really do help tyvm rick

should be charging it on cardboard, wood anything so it is not on the ground. they say you would get an improper charge if on the ground also store them off the ground as well

Those are the cheapest quality batteries that is why manufacturers use them. They are built out of contaminated recycled lead. They are imported and cheap that is why they don't prefilled them. A better option would be a Duracell. They are made in the USA 🇺🇸 and are not made from Recycled lead.
