IMPORTANT!!!! Hey guys one thing I must mention is that some saddle companies have specific care instructions so make sure to check this before cleaning your saddle!! For example using oil on some brands of saddle can even lead to the warranty being affected!! So please check 😜 While I’m here THANK YOU all for being so patient while I took a break ☺️ it’s great to be back❤️

a tip when using the saddle conditioner is to use one of those cotton balls on a stick if you know what i mean anyway it helps a ton to get into the creases

The fact you said you liked to do fashion outside or horses got me thinking, you could COMBINE the two! Have your own equestrian fashion line or something, like Erin Williams’ brand Black Heart! Shes got two riding horses and about 10 saddle pads... meanwhile at home: 1 horse, 20 Saddlepads... uuuuuhm... well in 10 years a lot comes together... like 2 sps a year seems okay if you look at it like that.. 😅🤣

i’ve put leather oil on suede before it does soak in and make it darker but it needs to soak in for a week at least otherwise the pants get dirty (learned that the hard way) another thing u can do is put like towels on the seat and knee rolls when u ride so it can kinda soak up any excess overall it’s going to back to original so it’s a little bit of a waste of time

I really need to this as well. My dressage saddle is at my coach’s place and I haven’t gone since before lockdown, so I know it’s going to be disgusting when I’ll go back. And I just bought a jump saddle, it was in pretty good condition but I still have to clean it 😅 I really enjoyed your video as always :) can’t wait to see miss Peach ridden work again.

I got an saddle recently. It came with stirrups, stirrup leathers and the saddle itself.. Only costed 35 bucks because I bought it at an auction. Cant wait to clean it

I love videos like this. I agree about the community, I’m pretty sure my husband gets tired of me talking about my horse all day lol. He just doesn’t get it, but we do. I feel like we could be friends in real life but sadly I’m in the US. I could move to Aus, like Holly though 😂.

My mare Kitten is a Chestnut with the sheen gene and her mane and tail are super dark (like it's a deep burgundy color) so I feel ya!

My mare is also chestnut with a reallly dark brown mane! I would say she might be liver chestnut but I’m not sure that her coat is dark enough, pretty sure she’s just a dark red unfortunately.

I think tack cleaning is one of them annoying but a must tasks but on the flip side like mucking out so satisfying also like giving your a good groom or a bath if they are really disgusting but I am glad you are feeling good enough to come back and did you ride peach because you give her time to mature etc

I'm not certain but I believe she can't ride him bc of a set of injuries that began last year which lead to them finding out other things about how he was poorly treated as a yearling? She has some older videos about it :)

Keep your shoulders back always, and try not to snatch the horse’s face with the reins when landing. That’s my advice!

Don’t oil suede. It will nap up badly and can stay greasy for a long time.

Cleaning a saddle with a eet rag is not enough. You used use a soft brush so that you in between thevstitches and all the crooks of the leather

The Universe works in Very Strange ways, you weren't expecting a foal and yet your dream horse is a Thoroughbred, Warmblood cross that you wanted for a VERY LONG Time and the Universe gave you Tic Tac and you got her unknowingly the Same day you got Peach.

I love your videos but saddle soap is horrible for the leather after about 10 years or so the weather will start to disintegrate and it will be this weird texture on the outside and it makes a very horrible smell my mom works in a saddle shop she actually has a saddle shop her saddle shop name is Gretchen saddlery and she gets a whole bunch of saddles in to fix that have that stuff on it and it just disintegrates the saddle and she makes saddles as well western
