I have seen many videos like this but no one explains how you are supposed to breathe without the very back of the tongue popping off the roof, as it blocks the airway.

Because mewing is a myth, a bone can't be enlarged. The least you can do is doing cardio so you can lose weight, that affects your cheeks and gets better. These videos with "perfect jawlines" cano nly mean two things: 1 genetics or procedures.

No bro trust me, i had bruxism my whole life, grinding down my teeth every night. The grinding stopped, as soon as i was able to constantly have the right tongue posture (mewing). I had to massage my jaw muscles everyday because of the nightly grinding so my face/jaw would not hurt that much. I didnt need to do that anymore after i stopped grinding due to mewing. You dont even have to do it at night, its enough if you do it whilst awake. i know that because i neved managed to mew at night, it would always collapse. I dont know exactly how it works, i think the tongue on the palate sends some kind of "signal" to the Body, so the teeth wont grind at night. I know that sounds dumb as f but thats how i fixed it, and we humans are all pretty similar. Keeping the teeth SLIGHTLY together wont also do any harm. In fact, its better for you jaw joints, because if the teeth has its resting position in a bite, the tmj (the joint) will adapt, so the joint is "programmed" to be in balance, when your teeth is closed. So when youre chewing, especially if you chew something hard, your Joints will be in balance, because if you chew, the highest pressure is (logically) when you bite on the food (so in that moment, your teeth is togehter). If thats not the case and your joint is out of balance, especially under high pressure whilst chewing something hard, you could get some tmj problems and things like joint clicking. I had that Problem my whole life and fixxed it due to Keeping my teeth together all the time at the day (and my tongue on the palate of course). I took only like a week after i started with the right teeth posture and i had no more jaw clicking while i opened my mouth. It adapts pretty fast

You should also strenghten your jaw muscles and your tongue, the muscle itself, so you have it easier to keep the right tongue and teeth posture (especially at the time, when you not actively think about it). For your jaw muscles use extra hard chewing gum, the hard gums from jawliner are good. But use the real chewing gums, not the plastic tabs, they fuck up your joints. The plastic tabs in beginner advanced and expert are very good for training your tongue. Start with the easiest one (beginner) . Lay the plastic tab on your tongue, pretty much in the mittle. Then press the tab with pressure against the palate. Keep this constant pressure as long as you can, so its a challenge for your tongue muscle. I always breathe every 10 seconds, because breathing and pressing at the same time is not easy. I would recommend to chew 6 jawliner chewing gums for 30 mins on the right side, then, an hour later, 6 chewing gums for 30 mins on the left side. If youre right muscle is stronger, start with the left side or do more for the weaker side. Do this for 2 days in a row, at example monday and tuesday. For your tongue, keep the pressure as long as you can with the tab as i explained. Do this for 4 sets (or more) until failure with 2 to 3 mins rest between each set, like you do bench press or lat pulldowns in the gym lol. Do the tongue excercise every 3 days, so in this example on wednesdy. Thursday and friday then jaw muscle with chewing gum again, and saturday tongue training with the plastic pad again. If 6 chewing gums are too hard or too expensive, you can go with less of course. I personally wouldnt recommend taking more than 6, because it put too much stress on my joint, but you can try for yourself.

The tongue has to be right behind the teeth, very close, but not touching them. Thats the right posture. Dont worry, if your tongue doesnt touch the teeth, it wont push them.

African tribes that still eat hard and unprocessed foods don’t “mew” (although they might have a good jawline and Check-bone width),they have the same tongue posture as people that don’t eat hard and unprocessed foods.
