Damn this is so much more elegant than the way I always do it, which is creating duplicate layers, misallign them by a few pixels and then change the colour and/or opacity

Quick offtopic: there is a way to make a gradient transparent? I mean suppose here on this image, I want to make half of it transparent gradually, I cant find how to do it propperly Im using the eraser with huge size lmao
