For the example you also can use the product attributes. Those are perfect for brand etc..

It would be Great if you could do a follow up for brands and showing how to create a brand CPT or taxonomy that has a couple of custom fields such as image and description. Then how to display them in a brand archive type view with Elementor Pro. I'm trying to work my head around this and just can't seem to work out all the pieces. Note: I've got the unlimited LTD pro version of ACF if that helps.

I've been scratching my head for over a week, trying to figure out why my custom field group wouldn't show in my product page... and just like that... post type = Product. Thank you, Imran. Actually, I'm glad you chose the radio select as the input, because maybe you do a short on this next query I have (if you haven't done so already): how would you make a particular radio option the default selection?

Ensure the correct [custom] post type is selected in the page settings (cog icon, far bottom-left). Not by my computer at the moment, so I should have started with "if my memory serves me right".

Hi how are you? I use this plugin to add fields in WooCommerce product categories but there is a problem that I haven't found a solution for yet and maybe you have. The fields I added to product categories do not appear in Yoast SEO plugin. For example, I added another field of text below the display of the products in the field there are 300 words, how the Yoast plugin does not count or does not refer to the text that comes from the field I added in the acf plugin. Did you encounter a problem?

You could have a custom field that contains the ID of a related product, but then it becomes tricky with returning that info. You could add some text and a Custom Add to Cart that is based on that ID, but it'll need testing.

Hi Imran, thanks for the quick and useful tips. However how is it possible to create custom fields for products such as Tshirts, CDs, Wall-arts, etc. that need to be categorised based on their pictures, genres, etc which then requires a hierchical category. Let's say a cutomer wants to see the categories of Tshirt With Animals, Cars, Seasons, etc and each category has sub-categories like cats, dogs, etc. BMWs, Nissans, etc. or Spring, Summer, etc. Is it even possible through the application of custom fields? Or another plugin is required?!

The standard upload in doesn’t seem to support ACF. Do you have any recommendations?

As I understand the standard importer only supports CSV-files. It does'nt let me upload anything else. When selecting the fields (”Map to field”) during column mapping when importing the file containing all the product information I can not select my custom fields, only the default ones. @@websquadron

There is an Elemenotor's bug. It doesn't work for custom image fiealds. For example if you have a custum image fieald of logo of your brand (which is also custom product taxonomy in my case), it just not displayed on product page after setting it in elementor correctly.

@@websquadron Interesting! I have contacted Elementor Pro support service about it, they have checked my site form inside and acknowledged that this is their bug. This is their tech support's answer: I have taken a look at this issue, and after troubleshooting, I have concluded that this is a known bug we're experiencing with the ACF fields (Image field) doesn't work as dynamic content on the front end. Are you sure Imaran that you are checking on product page? Cuz it doesn't work specificaly there

You could add that to the Woo Checkout or use an ACF frontend too so that they can add it to a post without having access to the Wordpress backend

What about adding Custom Field to product variations, to add more details for each variation and display it in the frontend to the customer.

Yup, that can be done too but sometimes it's better to just use the standard Woo Attribute and Variation feature.

@@websquadron the issue, you cant display the description of the attributes on frontend with Elementor or JetEngine, i want the description to show/hide when customer choose the variation he want. Two weeks and i still not finding a good solution for it. Again thank you imran for all the tutorials.
