Add fertilizer either in the morning or in the evening. do not add fertilizer during the hot sun...
Sprinkle fertilizer at least 3 to 4 in away from the main stem. mix it into your soil and make sure the water well fertilizer will activate and start to break down as soon as you water..
For smaller plants, you could fertilize once a month for a bigger plant you could fertilize every two weeks...

I have a small property and grow food anywhere I can except where the wife grows her plants. I preserve as much as I can as early as I can, and then I feed the neighbors. My next door neighbor have a yard 30 time the size of mine and don't grow a garden but then ask me for tomatoes or hey do you have any sweet peppers we don't like hot ones. that kinda annoys me. I'd have a high tunnel if i had their yard. I give stuff to a Guatemalan family down the street, and the mom cooks us a couple of meals every year. She also takes any of the large leaves and uses them for wrapping or wraps. I have raised beds, a container section, a strip of land on the side of the house I grow in the ground. I call it the Eastside Garden the farther back you go the less sunlight 3 to 5 hours. Near the front you get full sun. Anyway I'm rambling on too much lol.

Hey ,my friend, my tomato plants have grow 2 and 1/2 ft. There are thick stems about 2-3'' at the bottom of the plant there long and curved down toward the ground, can i prune them off?

Mornings! I have a question about my delicata squash. The fruit was growing nicely, but now the end is starting to shrivel. Is it a fertilizing issue? Thanks for your help!😊

Would you fertilize your cucumbers with 10-10-10 throughout the season also.

I'm afraid this cold weather will inhibit my squash and beans from producing fruit. 54 today windy and going down to 48 degrees according to phone weather app. Then...in the 90 end of week. This extream temps will harm them. I'm so angry I could spit nails!
