We have a 2011 Winnebago Tour and have experienced the "jacks down" alarm several times while traveling. This video totally fixed the problem! And our reservoir was under the steps too. Wouldn't have known this without you. Thanks!

I'd put some rustoleum paint on that tank. Sand it a bit then paint it up. Great video!

Jerry do all coaches use ATF? Or has that changed with newer models? I have a 2018 Fleetwood discovery.

Hi, it looks like I have the same leveling system on my coach. But when I hit “auto” or “manual”, my air bags doesn’t deflate. Do you have an idea what I can do? Thanks!!

Hmmm, I put hydraulic fluid in the reservoir. Is that going to cause a problem?

Sorry about that. I was heading out when I typed that question. I have been RVing for 27 years. Have had four RVs. I have an 06 Winnebago Journey 39k at the moment. Like you I bought it new. Had some issues with it. As you said in one of your previous posts we the new owners are the quality control. We get to find out just how little quality control goes in to building these homes on wheels. OK I'm off topic. Guess I have asked before and never retained the info or received multi explanations. If a reservoir is full and stays that way for months if not years and a leak is never detected or found. Does it mean the fluid evaporated? Can the reservoir go down without a leak? I was told there is a float in the reservoir. Once the rams start extending the fluid lever goes down setting off the alarms letting you know your jacks are extended. Once the rams are retracted the fluid rises and the float turns the switch off turning the alarm off. Good posts I'm enjoying watching your travels and the info about your RV. Keep em coming.

At the autoparts store buy some fluorescent leak detector dye as it is safe to use and then put in the reservoir. Buy the special flashlight available too and go under the coach and shine in areas where you think it might leak and I bet you will find where that fluid ended up. If that don't work then put that reservoir on a diet.

Mine is just a plastic cap that easily pops off. If yours is a metal screw in type, grab a wrench if your hand won't turn it.

That is what I need to know also! We got it loose now it’s just spinning. It’s in aF’ed up place so I can’t see the top to tell what’s up. Have a 1993 - 4 Georgie boy cruise master with the HWH 310 series leveling system. I’d anyone could advise I’d be very grateful. Thank you @jerrydixon
