If you are using a roku streaming device, then you need to connect the console to the TV itself, I have a samsung
Connect the console to the TV via hdmi

Switch the hdmi source from roku to your xbox, ps4, ps5 or nintendo switch console
If you are using a roku TV, hisense roku tv tcl roku tv, onn rokutv or another, then
Connect the console to the TV via hdmi
In the roku main menu, select game console
If it doesn't work, then use a different hdmi input
