Thank you for this inspiring and straightforward tutorial. My question is, how do you gauge how much ribbon to use in a tree based on the tree ht and width size? Every year I always get frustrated looking for the same ribbon to complete the project. Also, what if you have an artificial noble fir tree that is not as COMPACT as your tree. How do you keep the ribbon in place?

Thank you! It’s such a beautiful stem! It would be perfect in a topper too on a larger tree. I normally don’t cut stems when adding to a tree, but this was such a large stem and a small tree, that I felt it would’ve overwhelmed the tree.

They are supported with command hooks on the door. I just draped the ribbon over the tops of the cabinets and taped it on the backside.

I just used command hooks to support it and then taped the ribbon to the inside of the cabinet door.

I don't have a full tree like that one. So I used pipe cleaners. And used my smallest picks to hide it.
