Yeah it would be helpful to mention at the beginning of this video that you need to drop at least $12.00 a month for this service. I'm not particularly annoyed about it being a paid service just should be communicated up front that it is so people don't waste their time.

Yeah... I couldn't even upload a 30sec video without being prompted to pay. It's ok to mention that it is a paid service to access a lot of these features, but not cool to say "Veed is completely free" right off the bat😂

Dangit that's so cheeky, you know I used to use VEED to correct the subtitles for 30 minutes (Because the video is too long) while watching this video. and when I wanted to export it to a .SRT file, it turned out to be paid. DANGIT!!! I'm wasting my time!!!! 😭😭

Hey, nice succinct video. Well done. That said, I think if you're going to promote a third party, it would be helpful to always be upfront about the costs. Just state it as you bring up the third party so we're not caught off guard when we go to use it. Other than that, keep up the good work. Your videos are easy to follow and to the point. They don't waste my time. Thanks!

I agree with the other. It would really be helpful to say that a free account does not allow you to use "auto transcription" if your video exceeds 10 mins!!!

Thank you for a very helpful video! I do have two questions that maybe you can help me with. I do not know how to set the language of the subtitles I'm putting on the video. In the YT Studio I upload an SRT file, no problem. But I am not allowed to select the language of the titles, rather YT assumes it's the same as the audio content (it is not) and labels it incorrectly. I've searched Google and YT help, but only seem to reach help for viewers who are watching a video (as opposed to help for someone trying to enhance the content). I'm also stuck on how to position the subtitles on the screen. There are several places where I'd like to move a subtitle from the default center/lower third area to the top or middle so on screen items aren't covered. Again, when I search I find instructions for viewers and not creators. Thank you in advance for any guidance you could share. Regards, -BM

Is there a way to make the video show with subtitles as the default setting? I other words, instead of relying on the viewer to choose subtitles, I want subtitles to always show when people watch since I've added a bit of extra info in the subtitles.

I'm using the free version of Veed, and I encounter a little problem when I tried to transcribe my video to add subtitles to them, I'm using the Indonesian language (Bahasa) and when I use Veed's auto-generate feature, they often misspelled the words so I have to edit them (which not a very big deal). But my problem was, every time I finished editing the words in the subtitle box they don't stay (saved), so all the words I edited changed back to what they were before. So my question is what's the solution for this, what's the problem, and what's causing them? Thank you.

I have a 3+minutes short vedio clip, tried to add different language subtitle for workplace, I tried to copied and pasted the translation and timeline myself (entered in and out time according to the breaker myself), looked like the system to adjust the time itself. Wonder where went wrong? or a better way to add subtitle in different language?

Hi I'm a bit of a beginner I noticed that in some of my videos the captions offer all languages. But my question is this. Seeing I am offering my students private online lessons and they live in France and Italy I tried to upload with 2 Languages... but it only offered one as a result. Am I doing something wrong or is my account only restricted to one? Appreciate your answer. 😊

But I have a question and I can't find the answer. how can I force KZfaq to display subtitles in my viewers mother tounge ( or in language of viewers mobile set)?* *In most channels I've seen, subtitles are automatically played in our own native language. for example, The subtitle language of the channels is German. And I am using the Turkish version of youtube. When I watch their videos, the subtitles are in Turkish not in german. this is so good that I don't have to choose my own language in subtitles. and they are automatically shown for me. what are they doing?*

I am beginning to make learning videos for teaching English. I hold classes with students and my wife, she is Vietnamese, and translate to the students in Vietnamese when needed. Is it possible to place subtitles for both languages? I was thinking maybe I had to run the video through twice and then combine the SRT files.

Yes, You can add subtitles for more than one language. There is an option in subtitles language. After you choose your preferred language you can add it as well.

I believe the video implies the service is free so I spent time watching it and doing a "test" video. Once I was ready to download the SRT file I was prompted to pay at least $25.00 per month or upgrade to PRO for much more in order to download the file. Not sure what would be the point of "continuing with a free plan". This was another waste of time unfortunately, especially since I need this for one, 3 minute video. It was so easy to use also.

I'm on the KZfaq screen for captions as I create a video upload; it asks if I want to upload an SRT file; I do; it shows in the left pane with all the timing; the video box on the left shows no captions; when I publish there are no captions. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help on this. I took a short video in Polish and used Veed to add Polish subtitles, but how do I make it translatable to all the languages? I have seen some videos on YT and people can select any language that they want to watch this video in. How do you do that? Thanks so much!

Hello, you'll have to translate the original subtitles into the different languages on VEED, then download them as SRT files and then upload the SRT file with the KZfaq video. Then viewers can select which language they want to read subtitles in :)

I'm interested in this service but what is the difference between using VEED to transcribe vs having KZfaq transcribe? If you upload a YT video and keep it on private or unlisted, it will auto transcribe after some time. So then you could just copy and paste the transcript into a note pad after doing edits and save as an SRT and upload it. I guess it's the few more manual steps you would have to take going the YT route, right? What are the other benefits of using VEED?

I use YT auto feature. I have been hard coding the subtitles via premiere but I think that is perhaps a waste of time (especially as it generates a lot of errors). The auto feature in YT is about 99% correct and I'm happy to fix the odd word. It makes a hash of my earlier videos with terrible sound and I think they will be impossible to subtitle, I can't work everything I said at the time. I just wonder how many people click on the CC to see them but I really like to see the subtitles and I wish they would have them on as default.

I either started adding subtitles or CC in some KZfaq videos from March 30th 2019 to April 2nd 2019, or from April 29th 2019 to May 2nd 2019, which means I've only been doing that for 4 days without anyone knowing. I can't do that anymore or edit and delete the ones I added in those videos.
