But sometimes, for my social media captions, I find using boost app social's AI writing tools really helpful. It crafts your caption in seconds and I find it less hassle compared to full-fledged editing tools when I'm in a rush. Anyone else tried it?

Really awesome that you provided several options. I've been searching YT for a bit today and every other video only offered one suggestion which were always cloud based solutions. P.S Descript is awesome. The free trial gives you 1 hour a month of transcription, way more than others... the trade off being 720p max export. But no biggie if all you care about is the transcript. Cause then if you really wanted to, you could just take the subtitles from the export and add them to your original (assuming you didnt make any cuts).

Nice video, but for me, Subtitle Edit 3.6 worked better for PT-BR transcriptions, and its 100% free. This application its super light, you should had added in this tutorial too as a 100% free solution. It also has spelling check errors.

Just FYI: Capcut has a GB maximum of 500mb to upload. Descript is also extremely challenging with user navigation

in PP there is nothing wrong with it when it's listening to a clear mic, however all my friends have terrible mics so it takes time for me to go through and edit them all

Captions are ruining media. 95% of the time the captions are quite wrong, even after the review process. If you're tuning in to watch a video, you're copping the audio too. It takes away from the visuals of the clip. Everyone just wants the views, which is destroying integrity. If you're producing and posting content, get it right and be proud of what you've created. It's quite sloppy, but nobody cares anymore. Weird world.

There is very limited support for CCut /Desktop. Driving me crazy as a beginner.!~ I don't do TTok, But want to do a professional looking 45 min video and not a lot of answers about 'hows to...' Is Premiere better for this? I dont spend 24/7 on my cell... Want to use it for Teaching and KZfaq

Hello Nino, So you said capcut can transcript english well but not other language and then you said mobile capcut on phone got more languages and they are pretty precise ? so if i want to make srt file of 5 languages besides english including spanish, French etc, i should use mobile capcut rather than windows ?

A lot of these things end up butchering the words you have to go fix a lot . And why doesn’t DaVinci have this yet

I'm actually looking for openAl based subtitles translate & transcript solution, whisper is too complex, capcut is easy, but i worry about the quality of capcut when i want to make srt file of other languages, what is your suggestion?

I really want to like capcut but its supremly limited and it doesnt do much outside of english, even on PC, online and mobile, it might give you other languages like russian for example but it doesnt actually create subtitles. It seems that these features are only available on their pro license which defeats the purpose for finding a free alternative sadly

Unfortunately you can't export captions from CapCut unless you have a Pro version! Tried it myself today( sad((( Are there any alternatives?

CapCut works very good in Spanish in my experience.

you didn't mention that CapCut doesn't have automatic word wrapping, which makes the automatic captions feature virtually unusable, at least for now
