My flow control valves actually do nothing for the flow, when turning them either way? I can turn mine 25 times in either direction and nothing happens. I have taken my valves out, cleaned them and put them back in and the only way I can get a sprinkler to actually work, is to open the air bleeder half a turn then they turn on? Close the air valve and they turn off? What is going on?

My valves don't have any adjustment on them. Are there different models, or are my valves an old model?

Not all valves have flow adjustments on them.

Should I open up the rest while it’s running?

You’re supposed to shut off water to valve and then turn all the way down. Then activate the valve through controller. Then quarter turn. Then open water lever and boom done : Also can open more if you think you need more pressure rather than quarter turn do 1/2 turn
