Hi Peter Finn, the car had shown "Input/Shaft Speed Sensor No Signal" error and was recently fixed. The professional was not speaking well English and all I understood is that the gear had to be adjusted to always send the signal to the "Input/Shaft Speed Sensor". I wonder could what you explained in the video be what he actually did to solve the problem. I would appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

My v6 4runner 2007 Shifting thru all gears well but cant shift to 5th gear even manually i tried on highway from L to 4 gear but when i put in D it still in 4th gear. And from stop to start when i put from park to drive it engage in gear. Drive on shifter working but cant shift to 5th gear. The problem occurs when ichange the neutral safety switch. I think they misaligned the linkage. Because no cel no code on car.

Im so sorry for your time n i hope yu have da answer for the problem for my toyota rev4 2007.everything just find battery is strong n starter strong do because it a new starter,new ac compressor,new alternator,new belt&belt tensor,new 02 sensor both,new air flow sensor and the ac working grate 100%.The key is broke the key come out from the controll but still using just key with plier to turn on n off but times is still working,if i turn the key it on but n im trying to turn on engine its doesnt on,sometime i but the gear to N i turn the engine,its coming on,n i turn off but the gear to P n turn it engine coming on,next day i turn the key coming off,n trying to play the gear P n N still off,n i waiting like 3to4hr i play the samething like P to N iand i turn the engine is coming on.sorry for the long note n thats the problem.n anythank you.

I have a problem, I think it's from the box, the symptoms are the following; if the brake is fully applied while it is in D or R, the engine dies instantly, because of this I stand at the traffic lights in N and I have to put it in N on the go, as if I hit the brakes suddenly it dies. and when starting from a place in front or back, it trembles in the back, it's much worse. My Golf 4, 2.0, automatic transmission is misbehaving in the mornings like it goes off as soon as you engage the gear followed by too much vibration. You can't start and drive right away, unless it idles for 10mins or so, especially if you have to reverse. From there if you drive around, it won't happen again for the day until tomorrow. I have changed all the gearbox sensors but still no change. Please advise on the kind of mechanical problems it is. And how to resolve it.
