They self adjust to account for the pads wearing down, they self adjust when you use your parking brake

That is the EXACT WRONG way to do a brake job. He literally just caused excessive wear on the pads and rotor. If it was my shop. I would have fired him on the spot. That car now has NO STOPPING POWER on the wheel.
