✨UPDATED TIPS✨: ✨UPDATED TIPS✨: ✨UPDATED TIPS✨: **THE SHORTCUTS LAG: ! Go to settings > accessibility > turn on reduce motion....the lag that your phone has when you click on an app and it goes to shortcuts before the app is reduced. it’s still there (there’s no way to completely get rid of this), but it’s much faster!! **To avoid moving all your apps to the last page + making a mess like I did lol- press + hold and selcect "Move to App Library” so the apps are "hidden" from the pages. (this just places them in your App library on the last page of your homescreen!) **You can also have "hidden" pages on your homescreen. Press + hold until you see the little buttons on the bottom and "Edit pages" should pop up. There you can select which pages you want to hide! **To move the apps faster: Hold one of your apps and move it slightly, (do not let go) and tap on the rest of the apps you want to move. Then, just move them all to the slide that you want them on! **If you want to keep dark mode on without it interfering with the appearance- in the wallpaper settings you can switch off “dark appearance dims wallpaper” **Issues with Widgetsmith not showing the image and it’s grey. This is how to troubleshoot: + Make sure to go into your settings, select Widgetsmith, and allow all photos. + Create folders of images you want. + Add Widget onto Home Screen!

You can always just not do the shortcut thing and organize your apps with their usual photos if you want to avoid that. I think its' still worth updating for the widgets. Also someone else just told me theres a way to add them to your "library" (which is essentially a place to keep the apps you don't want shown) so you don't have to hoard the apps on the last screen.

This video truly help me out! One thing I realize that you do not need to download the Over app to resize 1:1. While creating the shortcut it allows you to readjust to frame the icon correctly. Do as you wish.

This is really cute! I’m the only one who ever sees my phone tho & I need to be able to access each app super fast, so I kinda need the original logos to remain the same because of all the things I need to think about in life phone aesthetics is at the bottom of the list. This is nice! I’ve done this on my phone and it looks amazing and more organized! The only thing I hate, is that I created my own images to replace some apps like the messages, FaceTime, etc apps, and it doesn’t show the red icon in the corner for the number of notifications/messages on it which sucks.

You can’t because the shortcuts isn’t a replacement to the original app You could organize the original apps by their existing cover if you don’t want to use the shortcut method

ännië so if you wanted to move multiple apps at the same time you can, instead of 1 by 1. So, go to edit home screen, hold 1 app then tap the rest and it will layer them so you can move them all at the same time.

i think we’ll eventually get used to it or u can just open the apps in ur app library and keep the apps you customized for aesthetic
