Really good video, but I do want to point out from a music theory standpoint its more accurate to say that the lead is playing the top 3 notes of a Bb major seventh chord. That's why it doesn't clash, its actually playing different notes of the same chord. Same could be said of the string, it's more like its completing the Bb major 9th (A = 7th, C = major 9th) than it is playing an A minor.

Do you think that if you started adding serum to your tutorials your sales would go down? I think almost everyone has it and if it sounds slightly better than Analog then why not?

that's exactly the point, analog doesn't like serum, you don't want serum clean sounds in this style of music
