How to answer the phone professionally isn’t rocket science, but you do need to come up with a professional phone greeting that you’re comfortable with and does the job.
You can greet people at home any way you like, but at the office, you're the voice of the company that’s why phone etiquette for business calls is so important. Its the worst when someone eats on the phone. I had a boss who would eat on the phone, while also riding the city bus! I was like , "Huh?! What I cannot hear you!" LOL! Great tips!

It really depends on how the company would like the phone answered, however that being said it is nice to know the name of the person answering the phone incase the caller comes back to you after an unanswered transfer. It just makes it a little more personal. Thanks for watching, cheers!

I hear you! That's why my suggestion is only to eavesdrop on their greeting. If they are a coworker, their conversation will likely be about something work-related that you are already familiar with. Used the video for my students learning how to answer the phone. Great information. We emphasize talking professionally and you were until the end when you said ' Get my . . . . Was disappointed in that. Not a great example for my students. =(
