yes, as you submit your paperwork in hand there will be the interview or a review of your reasons to relocate. this depends on a consulate..

Thank you for your reply. Actually, a friend of mine is an Indian citizen and wants to try for it as a manual labour, and has some friends there. Was told it is closed now. They are relying on agents who take huge profits. The process is very complicated, more do for a person with little exposure and understanding to the process. I dont think I can try for myself at the moment. Although, I really wld love too. I'm not confident I can secure a job. Furthermore, i don't know any Portuguese. It is too risky for me. May I also know what's the median/common salary for a regular office based worker. Thank you again

Usually, I say make this to the very least, a 9 months process for the visa. Since this really depends on a consulate and whether or not they have any backlogs

yes, they have recently changed the process.. You would need to go to Maputo for the visa interview

This is especially for all long term stay visas. For tourist visa, the Greece embassy issues them in Kenya..
