No, you apply for scholarship directly. if you get it, you’ll automatically be considered for admission in the participanting universities

For Erasmus you really only apply on the online portal and you don’t need to separately apply for an admission at the participating university

Thank you for your reply. Actually, a friend of mine is an Indian citizen and wants to try for it as a manual labour, and has some friends there. Was told it is closed now. They are relying on agents who take huge profits. The process is very complicated, more do for a person with little exposure and understanding to the process. I dont think I can try for myself at the moment. Although, I really wld love too. I'm not confident I can secure a job. Furthermore, i don't know any Portuguese. It is too risky for me. May I also know what's the median/common salary for a regular office based worker. Thank you again
