Hi, in my case, I applied almost 1.5 months before the expiry of the BRP to be on the safe side. Yes, you have to be in the UK while applying for PSW.

I need an advice. I am going to apply for psw next month and i compleate my university successfully. Actually when i was new here about a year ago, checker in train give me ticket beacause i donot have my railcard that day. Thus summons came at the adress. But before that i have moved to another house. But i didnot know that and property owner return that summons. So i couldnot pay my fine either go to court. He just told me 3 months ago. What should i do now. I am going to apply psw and would that would be a problem and could my psw be rejected due to this. But that time i provide checker a wrong date of birth. Could you please help me out?🙏

Hi, so sorry to hear about this. I think it will be best to get in touch with a solicitor. However I feel it should be okay as it will be considered as petty issue and will not be categorised as a major crime. But please talk to a good solicitor to ensure you are okay to proceed with the application.

Hi, no Tier 4 visa holders cannot work for more than 20 hours during the academic year. You have the option to work full time (40+ hours ) during semester breaks and after the completion of your course.

please answer urgently I applied for a graduation visa, but I do not know my national unsrance number. Since I had the right to work 20 hours, I worked 20 hours and always received a pay slip. The share I received wasn't even written on the pay slip. I said I don't have a national insurance number. Will this affect my application? what should I do?

If you have worked in the UK, it is vital to declare it to the authorities. And they will be able to verify your work status through the NI number. Please get complete an online form on the HMRC site and they'll post you your NI number again. There's also a HMRC phone line that can send your number by post if you would rather do that. It will take 15 days .

Your video is excellent, and I have a couple of additional questions: For the question about my current living situation, where I've been staying with my cousin since the beginning of my course, what should I specify in the staying details section? Should I mention tenant, family, or something else? Regarding the payment of the IHS fee, should it be done using our own account, or can it be paid from someone else's account? Hi, it is okay to mention that you are living with family. Please share the complete details of your cousin in case UKVI would like to get in touch to verify your identity. I am not sure if it will be a problem to pay via another person’s account. In my case I used my own account for both the payments. Hope it helps. All the best !

Hi there, very informative video thanks dear, I have just completed my masters I got mail today that u can apply for graduate route visa, so now I have all my payslips ready from last NOV 2022 till now, I work in hotel where payment is done monthly,., now my hotel policy is like they pay monthly so ( calculation is from 1st to 29th date of every month ) but I have received two payslips where I have received payment of 100 hours asked my manager will it be issue he said it won't bcoz in those payslips of 100 hours overall number of weeks is 4.5 (June 2023 and August 2023) where there is extra half week which was also counted, so it came 100 hours overall for 5 weeks • ..... sorry for so long text but will it be any issue ??

No need to show any proof of living costs if you and your husband were already in the country during the course. The proof is needed in case your spouse is joining you after the completion of the course which is usually not allowed.

Hi, from my understanding you need to be in the UK while applying for the visa but does that mean you need to be in the country while the application is being processed- I don’t know. To be on the safer side, if I were you I would only travel after receiving my decision. Hope this helps

Hi friends It is fine to have your shortened names. Because on your brp card you will find some code at the bottom along with your shortened name. This happens only if you long name. When I faced this issue I called ukvi and they cleared my doubt. If u have any queries you can contact ukvi all the time. It's better getting clarification from them. Happy to say that I got my psw also. Good luck for everyone who apply for psw👍

If you have a phone with NFC, you can scan your BRP and do it online. If you are not able to scan using your phone, you will have to book an appointment.

I got 4 known names but The immigration id check app doesn’t capture the forth name during the scanning process. So the application says E M A De Silva, not E M A N De Silva I really worried about this. Is there any help line that i can check

If you haven't submitted application, You should be able to go back the application and edit details. If that doesn't work, you can delete the application and start again.

Hi, I would suggest it will be good to disclose any interaction you had with the GP even if it was a blood test. You can keep the duration of treatment to be the same month. Hope it helps.

Yes that’s right. Please share the details of your landlord for UKVI verification. If your landlord stays in another property which is different from yours please make sure to include it too. Hope it helps! All the best

If you had entered all details correctly during application and IHS payment page is auto filling, you can go ahead with the application.

Hi, I had received 2 emails from gov.uk upon completion. First one says: Dear Rakhi Krishna, Payment successful Date: Name: Rakhi Krishna Unique Application Number: xxxx Fee paid: 715.00 GBP Reference: xxxx This email confirms that we have received payment of your application fee for Graduate. It provides the unique application number for your application. We cannot provide an invoice for your payment. Second email says: Dear Rakhi Krishna, Your unique application number is: xxxx You have finished the application process for Graduate. We will contact you with the decision. Hope this helps.

Thank you for this, i had a question. I accidentally wrote the 10th instead of the 11th for the start date of my private doctors visit and in the extra evidence section they asked me for proof of payment that i made and that's how i knew of my mistake and so the proof of payment shows the start of the treatment as 11th and not the 10th. Do you think this is will be an issue and they will ask for more proof or will they pass it as a simple mistake on my part?

I have a question.. If my study completes on 14 September 2023...and i have 3-4 months to apply for pSW... Then in 3-4 months i.e from September 14 2023 if i will be eligible to do work for 40 hrs a week or 20 hrs a week???... Plzz reply

It is always good to apply at least a month before the expiration. The decision can take time if the Visa and Immigration department is busy. I got mine in around 3 weeks.

Hi, When I do the application of the dependant partner for PSW, before IHS payment its shown visa type as graduate, but there is no option for editing.Also in the evidence section, its told no to provide any evidence.Is there any issue regarding it?

Hi, As long as you apply the right visa from the gov.uk website, you don't need to worry. I was not asked to upload document during application either, but opted to do voluntarily. You don't need to upload if not asked for it.
