But your masters has a higher CGPA. I think you should apply to schools for PhD as I think you may stand a fair chance, considering your high LLM CGPA. Until you try, you'll never know.

It's best to travel with your spouse...close to when his classes will start. There are some things you will want to do as SOWP holder that will require your husband's study permit.
