I signed a 13 week contract guarantee 40hr of work = 2k weekly. They had the company I did the work for sign an 8 week contract. The travel company I signed with who made the mistake wants me to just let it go. Can I win this easily in the court if they refuse to hold up their end of the deal??

HI Michael, I have a question that I just need to clarify since its important for the whole analysis. You mentioned the first issue in the analysis is " whether the contract is governed by the UCC or the common law? Second issue being whether a traditional enforceable contract is formed? If the answer to the first issue is UCC, then second issue cant be "traditional" enforceable contract am I right? what would th second issue of the analysis be in that case? Thanks a lot in advance.

@@MilesNelgez I believe traditional enforceable contract means offer, acceptance and consideration with no defenses that would make the contract invalid. Other contracts are those formed by court such as Quasi contract, promissory estoppel etc. So traditional enforceable contract is both UCC and Common law.

@@marksman9249 Yes, a traditional enforceable contract can exist both under the common law and the UCC. That should answer your initial concern regarding: "If the answer to the first issue is UCC, then second issue cant be "traditional" enforceable contract"
