Screw tightening. One of the first things i learned, as a manufacturing engineer, from a person on the manufacturing line, was to *never* fully tighten screws until the very end. This has served me well throughout life. Rosemary

Thanks! Tip for anyone watching: After the first screw on the crossbar didn’t go in, I used a drill to make the holes a tad bit bigger and easier to screw in. 11/64 worked perfect!

Thank you for the video. Bought the same shed and I had my son and daughter (13 and 11) watched the video before we assembled it and turned it into a father-son-daughter project. Took us a little less than 5 hours to complete thanks to your video. My daughter was especially helpful. Appreciate you guys.

Wowwowwowwow Thank you. I built it today with my granddaughter. Two of the pieces were damaged in transit and we had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to get replacements. I remembered about the metal to metal supports but forgot that you said don't tighten.... duh. I had to loosen. I bought an electric screwdriver and you were spot on. Instead of the robo pliers I used two ratchets and they worked perfectly. The build went well. Thanks for your video... it helped

Your video was very helpful. I watched your video and the Suncast video when I was ready to start. I'm glad I watched your video, especially the tip about loosely mounting the support brackets on the ridge beam before installing. Made installing the truss legs MUCH more efficient. That tip alone was worth the watch! This is definitely a two-person project for some, but not all, of the steps. Two people required for wall assembly, if nothing else for applying pressure to the outside of the walls while the person inside installs the plastic screws. Two people semi-required for roof install; one person can lift and maneuver the roof pieces into position. However, we found that this task required one of us to hold the back edge of the roof "down" while the other used the rubber mallet to drive the roof into place. Without the second person, the slot/tab nearest the back wall was a problematic fit. Two people semi-required for header install based totally on your comfort/skill with ladders and juggling tools and screws/bolts. Same with installing ridge beam and truss legs. One of us was able to complete these tasks. Tip for installing ridge beam alone = set beam into place, then gently slide bolts into place on each end THEN install nuts onto the bolts. If not, high risk of beam falling. Recommendation 1 = use a cordless/corded drill with a SCREWDRIVER SETTING. Or a tool similar to the one in the video. If you use a manual screwdriver, or even two people with manual screwdrivers, you are in for a long and wrist-stressing project. The main point in using a power tool to drive the screws is to not "overpower" the screws. Although you do need to apply some pressure when screwing metal parts together. Recommendation 2 = use two-people, each equipped with a cordless screw-driving tool and you can build this in four hours. Or less, depending on your skill & experience. Thanks again for the video. It helped!

Thank you so much for this video! The tip about attaching the 3 bracket/adaptors to the cross beam at the beginning was a huge help since those are extremely difficult to screw in. The manufacturer should really tap a thread into those screw holes before shipping. I was able to do this step on the ground and it was still very difficult. The impact drill is a good tip too. Thank you again!!!

I watched another one where the fella built it by himself but wasn't as informed as yours. I'm a building Inspector here in Utah and also General contractor I feel like I have a good knowledge of construction. I must say after watching your video, I didnt even need to read the instructions, my wife helped me and we had it together in a few hours. Thank you so much for doing the leg work and explaining the ins and outs of the project. This was a huge time savings. Congratulations on a job well done ladies!

This video was excellent, and spot on. We had the exact same issues (had to drill the holes for the roof truss), and I also hit my head! I wish I had watched this first. Great video. We just finished this shed in a tight spot in our backyard. We put ours on a wood platform instead of concrete. We had to remove the windows because we failed to notice that there was film on both sides. Cost us about 20 minutes. I also got tired of using a hand screwdriver. Went to the drill and was careful. No problems. We had a little trouble figuring out how the roof went on and getting it placed right. Like I said we were in a tight spot. I went right to the drill on the support beam. So funny. I did the same thing and had to remove them because they didn't line up. But only took a few minutes with the drill. Funny watching after we did our project. Really funny we had the same challenges.

You did a great job explaining the assembly. I just finished mine in a day, though it took me a couple of days to build the foundation due to having to place it on an incline. It looks great and went together easily. The only problem was that one metal brace was missing, so I had to wait for it to arrive. I agree that you need a power screwdriver, but you have to be careful not to overtighten. There are too many screws to do it by hand.

Nice video and build. Thanks for sharing the tips about the small hanger parts-I installed them to the center top rail while I was on the ground. Also, I have all the hardware installed on the plastic parts such as the door handles, door latch and the steel rails on the windows. All we need to do is put the floor down, assemble the walls and ceiling. One suggestion is to use ratcheting pliers or socket wrenches when you were using a manual screw driver-more leverage so less force required. Also cordless screw drivers with clutch settings prevent you from over driving and provide you with more power to insert screws. Of course low settings are required for very soft material such as the plastic walls off this shed. Thanks for sharing. It helped me shorten the time to assemble this shed.

Watching your video made my installation go much smoother in less than three hours doing it alone. I did have issues with the metal bars being bent out; I had to hammer them down to properly fit and align with the designated holes. The other issue I had is with the doors, they're definitely aren't smooth to shut, even though I installed the shed on a leveled concrete floors, the doors align perfectly but I have to shove/kick them on the bottom to shut. Are yours the same? All in all, we love it and thank you to both of you!

If installing under a deck with minimal (5") clearance, can you slide the metal side supports into place prior to installing the side panel? That was the only step where it looked like clearance is an issue.

Odd question. I'm planning on buying one of these when I move to replace my vocal booth so I don't have to construct anything from scratch. At 04:40 - Is there an easier / different way to get those side metal supports in since I plan on building this INSIDE of a house? Just installed this on a wood platform this weekend. No anchoring hardware is provided, but the manual recommends using 3-inch-long 1/4” lag screws and washers. There are 8 little dimples total (4 per floor panel) for anchoring through the floor to the wood.

I just put this together before Christmas. I like it but it was a pain to put together and had the same issue you had with the top brace. Was really disappointed with that because I felt that those holes should have been pre-tapped. Pretty sure the bolts I put through there are toast and stripped.

I may add a plastic gutter in the back before the roof install to channel water away from the back.
