HOW TO ATTACH CORD TO SOLID RING | SPLICING AND MORE
Splicing is always a subject people that are new to making assist cords often ask - it is really quite basic, we we show you how to do it in this video, plus two other ways to connect your assist cords to your solid rings. There are different ways to attach the solid ring to assist hooks, and certainly more than just 3 ways, however, these are just mutations of the 3 that I am showing or a combination of two or more of what I show, or a combination of their parts. Either way, this is a very good video for someone who is just starting out to watch and absorb as stock information. There are other variations, but what I am showing are already improvements that I have been using for years and have proven to be effective.

Hey kit another awesome vid! I would like to request a topic, about reel drag setup for jigging and popping. Some people said I need to lock the drag when jigging some said no locking the drag and so on. If you can make one vid talking about this topic, for sure others also need it 😁 hope you doing well masterrr

Very big topic. End of the day - people will do what they do and they will only believe on what they think is right, and everything else is wrong. So, what I did instead is explain what drag is - search for "fishing reel drag" in the channel so you would understand the fundamentals - then set it according to how you believe it should be.

It's really good video, it answers a lot of questions in my mind, thank you Mr. Kit And let me ask you that if I find a Snap from a decent brand can I reg the assist directly in the Snap using the Solid Ring and reg the jig also directly to the snap using the eye of jig, this is to avoid opening the split ring and also not to make the leader shorter when changing between jigs by knotting the leader one time with the snap, I fish from shore with jigs from 15 to 40.g max 50.g does this work well or it is bad idea what do you think?

do things properly, or try and do something else, when something happens that shouldn't happen, then you would know what not to do.

Hello sir. What’s the reason behind longer hooks should be placed at the back and shorter in the front? Is this premise applicable in both fast and slow jigs?

just for slow jigs. you don't put hooks on the back of fast jigs. I explain this in the video..I don't know which ones, but there are several of these videos that I talk about why it should be longer.
