How to Babylights Dark Hair

A lot of you have been requesting on how to get a perfect brown color on dark hair. In reality, a lot of women have dark hair and they wanted to have natural looking highlights. I am sharing this Babylights technique is one of my favorite methods that has been around for ages. I have used Schwarzkopf Professional Power Browns Lifts and tones dark bases (Level 1-5) up to 4 levels in one easy step and requires no pre-lightening. Creates the most fashionable rich brown variations from cool to warm. hope you enjoy it it and thumbs up!

Am I the only one who likes the first way he styled her hair so much more than the second way ...? I don't know, they're both super adorable on her, but the first one was so much more high fashion and glamorous!!! Haha I love the bob and the color on her regardless!!! So amazingly beautiful!!!

Wow! I absolutely love this! My hair is super dark like hers & I was under the impression that we had to bleach our hair to make it lighter. I hate bleaching my hair & try to avoid it all all costs. I need to show this to my hair stylist & see if she can do this to my hair. Thanks for posting this. Please show more videos for the darker haired ladies as myself. Love your work & videos!

i just had my hair coloured all over with a chocolatey brown (on my virgin black hair,no bleaching) and now....i think im gonna get me some babylighys around the face for a brighter colour. LOVE YOUR WORK!

I am so happy that you, as a stylist. Can show us the viewers, the process of what you do, and we can see how you work with someone's hair personally, if that makes any since. Only, because it does feel personal, and is like a one on one thing how you can talk to us which in a big part is what I love. As well, as if I want something that you did on a client of yours, but I can't get made by you (because I live in a whole other place), I can still get inspiration and show it to my stylist, so she knows what I want, and the process. And that is really neat, that's another reason why I love your videos, plus I'm a big fan of your work. It's perfection.👌💕💇💆✨

Hi Guy I really like this look! This looks sooo great on Asian hair, it's so natural and sun kissed at the same time! I absoulutly love it, I am so going to try this at home. I have some questions here for you though. When you hair painted her back, which developer did you use? Did you only shift from 20 volume developer to 40 on her front? And since I am going to do this at home I dont have any heat source, will it make different? Thank you!

so r babylights less extreme than a balayage? im going to cut my hair into a lob soon and i also wanted to get some natural looking highlights. But this is going to be my first ever coloring. Should i start off with babylights or a balayage? which would u recommend?

babylights are more subtle, so i would recommend you doing that first. then if you want more extreme afterwords you can do balayage.

+Tiffany Ha \ I would ask for a light weave thats what us old school girls know it as. Before paneling the hair became popular we always did the weave method (now called baby lights)

Ella S I was wondering the same thing. I just donated my hair to an organization that doesn't charge the patients for the wigs. If you Google hair donation you can get a list of what each organization requires as far as color & length.

Beautifully done! It looks like a style one would have to pay a LOT of money for. So natural and beautifully dyed and the shape is full. Even though I'm a huge fan of long hair, the short hair looks amazing on her. New fan here.
