folks, this is fine if you want a SPORT, but if you want to learn self defense, it's 10x faster to bear claw his face or drive a spear hand into his armpit, throat or groin.. yes, you DO have to train how to shape and use those weapons, or you'll hurt your hand and lose the chance to end the fight in half a second. if you learn front snapkicks to the bladder and stop kicks to the shins/knees, while covering up with your fists/forearms, you'll never be down there on the ground flopping around in the first place.

My friend I appreciate your comment. There is always more then one way to skin a cat. I would highly suggest though, that you test your theories at any willing MMA/BJJ gym to see if what your saying is true. Our gym, along with most gyms have open mat days where you can with a small fee and after signing a waiver you can test yourself. One piece of advise though , I wouldn't try to "Bear Claw" any trained athletes. Probably wont end well.😂 Thanks for your comment.
