I was looking for the best way to bag firewood and one of my commenters notified me of a way to fill firewood bags faster, so I improved on the idea of firewood bagging with a sturdier substitute: a propane cylinder instead of a plastic container; the plastic would eventually crack over time. I cut both ends of the tank and smoothed out the edges with the cutting disk and then demonstrate how to use my new firewood bagger to fill the bags.

Good improv with the propane tank! Perfect example of small changes being needed for a different region completing the same task! (Freezing temperatures aren't a usual concern in central Florida 😂)

@@adventurerhoades Ah yes, GFL. One of their facilities in the port area had a fire a couple years back. They've since relocated and the building was torn down. They're a big company

They got lucky when the city privatized and they got the contract for half the city's garbage pickup!

Hehe did you flush it with water. If not it could of went kaboom. Your a lucky fella. I worked in the propane business for 35 years. Doesn’t mean I know every thing. Have a good day.

Was that a 30 or 40lb tank to start. It was bigger than a bbq tank for sure.

It was bigger than a bbq tank, I think it was a 30. Might weld one on the other to make it taller
