Nice job Scheib. In our neck of the woods, Massachusetts, they sell 5 pieces, at hardware stores, gas stations and grocery stores for $5. You are giving your customers the deal of the Century. Plus they just use a piece of shrink wrap.

That’s a good amount of wood in the bag, good value for your customer, after seeing your videos for a long time it’s what I’ve come to expect from you. After this you deserve a couple of Miller Lite. Cheers my friend.

Yep, I use a 5 gallon bucket and get $5. Local grocery stores are $7.99 for the same amount of kiln dried wood.

You give more in the bag than a lot of places. Wow, $5.00 is a Very Good price, time to go up in price, $$$$. Nice dry wood. I see some gas station selling bags with 7 pc. in it for $6.95 or more. I like the Miller Tap Handle on the Splitter Do. Hey Don did Joe buy your 2002 GMC truck ? Joe said in one of his video's the other day, he had to rent a truck.

24 inch bag is 1 cubic foot but cause you over stuff it ur probably closer to 1.2 cubic foot... means you probably get 35 bags per face cord... only way to really find out though is to stack a face cord and bag it all
@OntarioFirewoodResource2 жыл бұрын
I second that!

I'm with some of these other guys, you are undercharging for that size bundle. Great video, thanks for sharing your method.

Over in northeastern pa, I'm getting $15 or 3 for $40 for a bag like that with about 15 pieces. Pretty urban area here, only other buying options are Lowe's or gas station wood which is small bundles for almost the same price

Gas station in town sells those same bundles. I'd like to get hooked up like that, selling bundles 10 at a time. Sell for a bit less, but don't have to worry about theft and people stopping in front of my home. Thanks for the bag link. Looks like a good deal at 40c a bag.

That would be a $10-$15 bundle here in Maine, massive haha

How do those bags feel compared to the other bags you’ve used? $5 for those bags is a heck of a deal and seeking yourself short. Not sure about your market but I get $10 for the 1.0 cubic foot bags stuffed here in CT.
@nickkusmit93332 жыл бұрын
With amount of wood you stuff inside the bigger bags, i would raise your prices to $7 per bundle.
Round where I live you might get 5-6 small pcs. for $6
@StudCity7182 жыл бұрын
With those huge bundles using that size bag, you should show how they compare to the loose stack you sell. IMO if it's about the same, you should not waste time doing 1 of those methods.
@joeford73502 жыл бұрын

I think that your process is good and your price is too low. A supermarket near me is selling a lot of .6 cubic feet bags for $10.

You know what, I like your channel, but you are doing yourself no favours by smoking and drinking beer! I’m not a prude by any means, but in today’s liberal/purist society….it’s taken as anti-social by many of those pathetic beings who also believe in ‘political correctness.’ Otherwise, doing good!
