Find snares you like and put them under a frequency analyser! Try and get the same frequency response with pitch enveloped sine waves + claps/white noise etc!!

It's definitely a thing I've been after a lot of ways ;D I may have actually done the broken out version of this actual sound since some parts of Distructor i first got my hands on designing FLEX sounds.

@@dns_crypt it would make sense for it to be powered by patcher and then locked into a nice GUI, would give 100% creative control to those making the patches :P

Sometimes, you don't want to learn synthesis just to make your musical ideas come to life.

@@Baegus learning synthesis can enable you just in the same way learning music theory or harmony can. Just think of what SeamlessR has been doing, it's pretty contradictory to what FLEX is. telling people "no bro you don't need to know" just leads to more boring, simple carbon-copy music.

@@krass76 Nope. It is not the sound that is boring, it is the composition, the writing. Just think about a piano, or a violin. There is no need for everyone to be a sounddesigner. Don't blame the presets if everybody is doing the same lame Future Bass music or the same Drops all the time.
