I was abandoned on the street of china at the age of 1 by my birth parents. never had a father until God provided me an earthly father at the age of 13. I am grateful for my adopted father, but I am even more grateful for my Heavenly Father who took care of me for 12 years, being an orphan in china.

I'm only 23 years old. I've never dated a single woman in my life. I feel like God has a time for when I'll have a gf. God wants me to spend more time with him and enjoy life according to his words. I'm in no rush to find a girlfriend or wife, but when I do get myself a loving gf and eventually wife, I want to take responsibility by showing my kids and wife, the concept of who God is. I'll remember to look back at this video when I do happen to get engaged and have kids of my own. Keep on preaching, brother. 🙏🏼 😇

I’m 23 and haven’t dated either. I’m learning to seek God but my burning with passion keeps dragging me down into sin. I was addicted to porn from 11-23 and was delivered recently but my desire for intimacy remains. I hope that there is enough time for us to know what it is like to love a women but I’m just waiting for ww3 unless God intervenes. I’ll pray for God to send you your godly wife and I ask that you say a prayer for me as well. May Father God bless you always my brother in Christ! :)

As a fatherless woman, these are the things which I painfully longed for growing up and still do to this day. So please, fathers or aspiring fathers, take your roles seriously and be there for your family. Family is a blessing when it functions as God meant it to be. Don’t be the cause of pain and anger on your childs life for the rest of its life. It is a pain to be fatherless, so don't be that dad that abandones. Thank you for sharing these things.

HIIIII MILES' dad thank God and thank you for creating such an incredible man. Honestly I don't know where I'd be without his ministries. It's helped me through a lot especially coming back from my sin of lust by understanding who God is and how the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus redeemed me. I was taught how to repent and how to remind myself daily of his love for me so I no longer have a desire or need to fill an emptiness with earthy desires rather than filing it with the word of God. Thank you all and may God bless you 10 fold 🙏🏾🫶🏽. Also God answered my prayers because I'm not a father, not even close to be but just yesterday I literally googled "how a Christian man disciplines a child" and here comes this video to teach me more than I asked for. God truly works in mysterious ways and I Love God with all my heart, Soul, Mind and Strength. To everyone who took the time to read this and many more that watches the ministries I pray whatever you're going through may God always be first in everything you do through the trials and tribulations in Jesus name I Pray Amen.

I’m happy to hear this, find a God respecting woman who loves God. Jesus is the Center of my family and my wife and boys understand that. Having children and raising them to love God is the most rewarding experience we can have while we visit this earth. Always make Jesus your role model try to be more like him everyday and your family will follow. May you follow the lord with all your heart and may his grace and blessing fall upon you and your generations to come.

As someone who wants to be a father someday, I've been worried about what to do if my future children turn away from God. 19:03 really spoke to me. "Setting an example" REALLY applies here, since you're showing them why it's good to follow God, instead of just telling them that they should.

It's a start, but never stop learning and growing before and after marriage. Don't give lust or anger any footholds at any point. Read what James 3 teaches about taming the tongue and having wisdom. Seek God for repentance of lust, anger, and other sins, for control over your tongue, and for wisdom.

Not a dad myself (yet!) but I *have* taken on some dad-like roles. I've volunteered with my church's kids program and as a summer camp counselor. And my first camper asked me a question that was more intelligent than he knew: "Oh, Joe, from the ice cream social! Can I call you Uncle Joe?" That's how I think of myself now when I'm playing these roles. I am not the father, I am not the babysitter, I am not just the friend or the boring adult in the room, I am the uncle. The fun one. The uncle they want to hang out with, not the one they have to be with because I'm the caretaker. My kids (and I use that term loosely) are not hanging out with me because they have to, they're hanging out with me because they want to. The kids I work with at church are excited to see me every week. I'm at church mostly on Wednesday nights while the adults have their Bible studies, and I heard a story of one family who wasn't going to come one week because the parents' study was cancelled, but the kids BEGGED to come anyway. We have campers keeping a countdown all year of the days until they can go back to camp. I've been told I'm one of the best counselors there. All in all, the kids I work with REALLY seem to love me. So if you're in a similar role, where you are an occasional caretaker to children but not their father, remember this first rule: *Think of yourself as the fun uncle.* (Or aunt, depending on your gender. Or grauntie / great-aunt or grunkle / great-uncle, depending on your age.) The second rule is about what you should be doing. You should be having fun yourself -- the last thing you should do is treat it like a job, because then you miss the genuine relationships with the kids in favor of the poor attitude that working with kids is boring, stupid, and/or exhausting. But you can't enjoy it so much that you neglect your duties as the adult in the room. The rule here is to *have almost as much fun as the kids.* I say almost, because there are times when you should be participating in games and activities with them and playing with them, but there are also times when you should be facilitating their own enjoyment of the time you have together or keeping them safe. And you should be ready to switch between those at a moment's notice. The third rule is about your relationship to the kids. Act as though the kids are your friends, and they will be your friends. Form a genuine connection with the kids you serve. Work to understand them as you would work to understand a friend. Talk at their level, but don't talk down to them because they are kids. I find that physically making myself lower, at their eye level, builds trust. Also, keep your word. Kids have very sensitive lie detectors. So the third rule is *Genuinely love the kids.* And the ultimate rule? It sums up all the others nicely, and is applicable to all of life. It's a rule that needs no explanation, so I'll just say it: *What Would Jesus Do?* Sometimes you want to ask variations of this question, like "What Would Jesus Say?" or "What Would Jesus NOT Do / Say?" But the point is the same. And if you're having trouble with this one, remember: *Jesus Loves The Little Children!*

About those love languages, if I can expand that: I think the deeper point isn’t “know your partner’s love language and filter it through the book’s description of them.” I think it’s “know what your parter appreciates and values and show love to them through that.” Hope this helps!

I would encourage any dad or son to read Wild at Heart by John Eldridge, a Christian book about how God designed the heart of man when he created them and how we are wounded in this broken world. You talking about wishing your dad would come to your games reminded me of this book. In John's sequel book to WAH he talks about how the deepest desire every every young boy is to know that he is the beloved son, the apple of his dad's eye. These books have been incredibly healing for me, and I pray that someone will read this who needs those books. God bless.

I love my 2 boys more than anything on earth. I'm trying to teach them how not to let anger get to them and to be calm and show love no matter who they are. Not easy but I'm sure repetition we'll get there. But I'm learning this all from our heavenly fathers word. They both know about god and they know that god lives them and my youngest said to me daddy I hope u don't mind but I love god more than u. And I said thats perfect that I wouldn't want it any other way. 😀❤ God bless u and all and thank u for these great videos.

this video spoke to me in such a powerful way. i currently have a dog that i look at almost like a son to me, and i haven’t been the most responsible “father” in that way, where i would be lazy or start preferring my wants over his needs. i would think about my urge to do that and worry how my behaviors would affect how i would treat my kids if/when i have them, but recently i’ve started buckling down on that habit and placed more effort to do what i’m supposed to. i have no one else but God to thank for that, and for directing me to this channel. i need to be placing more faith in God throughout my life, and your videos have helped me without fail in steering me back where i’m supposed to be. thank you so much. God first

AND I hope and I'll pray for you that you may find enjoyment in the work you do, in your way of serving our God. My wife and I almost got divorced last year because I had both a huge anger problem and an untamed tongue for years. Because of one stupid nightmare, I had a meltdown and she became terrified of me and took our minor son to live several miles away with her mom and stepdad. It was only by the grace and love of God through the Holy Spirit that I both sought the correction I desperately needed and she heard about the changes in me through our minor son and adult daughter. (We have an adult son, too.) She and I talked for several hours one night months later and she ended the divorce the next morning. I failed, but God won.

My father died violently in front of me at the ripe old age of 9 years old. Having an absent and then abusive step father when my Mom remarried, God our heavenly Father is/was my Father. I have been a single father since my divorce, my starter wife when I retired from my beloved Marine Corps, and it's different with identical twin son's and being a single divorced father. I haven't always led by example, as a good Marine should. Having been a lukewarm Christian after my last deployment, I was so razzled out, I gave up. One foot in one foot out for years. God has renewed my joy for salvation. My twins are baptized and being confirmed. He is long-suffering and patient for our sake. In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen!

I love this so much, and the verse about not exasperating their children and some other points made I think can also apply to mothers or others who are raising kids but aren’t necessarily their father. Thank you for posting such an amazing vid 💙 Edit: Hi Miles’ Dad!

If God puts it on your heart, please make a video for single parents. I really like your videos. I was able to get some great information from this one. I’m a single mother, and it would be great to hear more about how I should approach parenting my son. Also, it would be great to see a video geared towards teens and young adults about how to have a fruitful relationship with their parents. God is using you!

I didn't see this point made in your video, so I'll make it here: Your children will automatically believe that their Heavenly Father (God) is JUST LIKE their Earthly father (you), so be the man you want them to believe God to be. And if your children reject the faith &/or walk away from God at some point in their lives, you, Dad, need to humbly, sincerely, & genuinely seek God to find out what you did to make them decide that God, their Heavenly Father, is someone they don't want in their lives because the Father they are REALLY rejecting IS YOU!

Throughout my childhood, my dad wasn't an example of a good dad, I'm not gonna share why for private reasons, but when my mom passed away on June 2018, my dad wished that he could go back and be the example he needs to be, but when saved(2022, basically 4 years later), God told me to forgive, cus before saved, I had hatred upon him.

I absolutely love this! Praise God! I shared it with my son that will hopefully be a Dad someday. My husband and I didn’t know Jesus until our 30’s we had two kids and a baby. The two older kids knew us before and after Christ, but we were baby Christians during I feel the most important times of their life. The baby she got brought up in church with the word and everything. My Son ended up joining the Marines and before he left, he got saved and baptized… I just pray for him daily that he will have a personal intimate relationship with the Lord, and I pray that he forgives us at times for the way we raise him without Jesus. God bless you brother and your ministry. My husband and I have a channel draw for God. Check us out sometime. Keep doing what you’re doing. God is with you definitely!!

Your right parents should not play favorites. I have seen this one MSA story where the dad played favorites he was nice to Mishi but verbally abused Biku which tore the siblings against each other. Mishi would belittle Biku and see him as beneath her and Biku would pull mean pranks on Mishi. All parents should treat their kids equally cause playing favorites will cause resentment and hatred between siblings. All parents must love their kids and make sure each of them get love and attention by the parents

God bless you and your team. This is so encouraging to see. Though I am not a parent at this time, I am so glad that I watched this. My father did not set a good example, yet since becoming a follower of Christ I feel amply prepared with the best example of a Father 🙌🏻🙏 Praise the Lord!
