I REALLY like the idea that the more dmg he blocks the faster he becomes

Wow this actually seems a more reasonable hero where it’s map dependent and can’t one shot ppl. So fun

This character actually isn’t as busted as I thought, if not at all. I thought he would be like Brigitte where he would be super op at launch, but he doesn’t play like he was ubernerfed or made to be absolutely broken.

A tip I would like to add is to use your nemesis form up or cancel it when your armor is used up then ult to get nemesis form again to get that armor back. If you ult while in nemesis form you dont get that extra armor unless you do it the way I said.

Honestly the preview made him seem super OP, and I know many were saying he's busted based on those. But seems pretty reasonably balanced, if not in need of a buff, based on your takes.

Honestly I feel like his biggest weakness is that he's ok at everything but doesn't specialise in anything. For example, if you're playing poke, why play him over Sigma or hog If you're playing rush why play him over rein or zarya

lower down shield CD to 10 seconds so he has an exit solution. also if block made him move faster instead of slowing him down, he would be a strong tank

ramattra is really good at keeping enemies away, and getting your team close safely, but bad at getting away themselves

they should make the block ability make you faster as it absorbs damage

Canceling nemesis form instead of blocking is often MUCH more valuable I don’t see enough people using this it makes him much more viable and significantly increases his dps potential

I think his block is really underrated, sure it makes him a sitting duck but when used correctly it is able to soak up high damage ults like dva and junkrat. Not to mention you can use it briefly and retreat to your team, or cycle it between hits to soak and deal damage at the same time.

I watched all ramattra vids but this one gave me an idea. What about... Movement speed boost of block? Doomfist gets charge to one shot after blocking Why wouldn't ramattra charge movement speed It would be like on gameplay trailer. He walks back blocking just to enter fight again with built up rage. This would make him even more of a tempo tank, would solve his movement issue, give a reason to block besides stalling payload. Imo easy fix. Imagine it during fight. Shield Close distance Nemesis form Strike a lot Get focused Block and fall back a bit Get healed by healers to full Pop Annihilation Stop blocking Go back into fight with short speed boost (like Lucio's amped speed boost for like 2 seconds)

1 Question: So Ramattra might be the best spawn killer? with its ulti no?

The amount of people that don't block when he transforms is astounding. He can block some serious damage. Also yes his kit is pretty weak but he's the only tank with serious range and no damage falloff.. his weak kit is to balance his potentially never ending ultimate.

I stopped at "ranged damage is gonna be his hard counter", this is absolutely untrue. I found I could win more games as him in ranged maps such as Circuit Royale and Junkertown. He has reasonable effectiveness at both close and long range.

FYI with the vertical pull down, Sojourn can slide out of it no issue, Echo can fly out of it if you go horizontal first, Mercy can even Valk out of it. his Ult can be LOS blocked by shields. so best counter hiding behind a shield like a Winston bubble. heck even Brigittes shield blocks it. so and enemy team hiding behind Rhine shield can just shoot him off the payload if he pops alt

does any one else think his primary fire feels fucking horrible with the bullet speed? It feels so off and inconsistent, the damage is there but it is the most awkward bullet leading I've ever played with.
