These podcasts truly encourage me so much. I'm currently in a very unappealing season of life. Just when I thought that everything was going good....things just changed within a matter of days. It literally knocked out all the air out of my lungs...but God has been my only refuge. Thank you for these podcasts, you guys !

Yes! A God-shaped void, that only He can fill. 🙌 So good. So encouraging. So appreciate you guys sharing from a faith based pov. 🙌 Also, would just love to hear Jess, Chelsea, and Tori also cover this topic together - sharing from their perspectives and experiences. 💛

That was truly amazing! I have been struggling with my season of singleness but now I’ve learned that I need to embrace it and work on myself before I see myself in a relationship

I’m starting to love these podcasts. They’re god centric. I hope you guys touch topics like handling grief during COVID. Bcuz nobody ever talks about grief. All we see is generic statements. I hope your team addresses this topic. Love you brothermen!

I believe a good relationship starts with myself first. Knowing our identity with God reveals our potential characters that we were created to become. When we are content with our miniature wins to be better each day because the best day is yet to come! 🙏 With God, I feel loved 100%!!! From the point, love for others begin ❤️🙏 Thanks for sharing your hearts! Even though I wasn’t subscribed, KZfaq suggested me to watch! What a good timing! ☝️❤️🙏

Do I want a realtionship where i feel uncomfortable or am i going to stay single. This podcast just showed me that being single is not wrong. It doesnt mean I am somone less. I do not have to put pressure on myself and that Gods plan is good. WOW so good. Thank you Lord for showing me this Podcast. It was truly needed. God bless y'all!

I really appreciated this episode! I am grateful to you guys for talking about these important things. I also think you guys could be an example of not making marriage an idol and being content with yourself and needing community- in your daily lives as influencers. I follow one of you on social media and all that is posted are pictures of you and your wife. I didn’t even know you guys had friends until this podcast. I know not all your friends feel comfortable with being in the public eye, but a lot of them are influencers themselves so I don’t think they would mind. I often wonder why influencers instagrams are just pictures of themselves and their significant other. There is no sign of community or friendships. I don’t understand it. Anyway- just wanted to say that. You can add to “breaking the stigma” by not partaking in it yourself.

I really enjoyed this episode guys, thank you. There is one thing I'd love some clarification on though. You guys recommend some books by Dr Henry Cloud. He recommends to go on many dates, as much as you could for many reasons (find out what you really want, personal growth, getting to know people etc). But in this episode you suggest not to. Which is a more healthier approach?
@seanyan5488
@seanyan5488 3 жыл бұрын
@@AlisonLiecbom ya I think so too, I don't think it's a good idea but I was just curious because it was in the book. I think the author meant it as dating just getting to know and feel comfortable around people (1st date, possibly second) but anything beyond that it's better to date only one person.

Break the stigma that marriage isn't easy? It's literally ALL I hear to the point that marriage holds very little appeal. Marriage podcasts genuinely make me feel less excited about spending the rest of my days in this hard and difficult thing.

Honestly as a Christian marriage becomes more and more unappealing the more I hear and research. Even when you look at scripture marriage is a very serious matter. As a Christian technically you're in it forever even if the other person begins to make you miserable. It seems ridiculously hard even with Jesus in the center especially if you want to have children. It's not a shock that more and more people are thinking carefully before jumping into it. Or generally avoiding it.
