How to Beat Anxiety with Breathe with me Barbie! I'm a huge fan of mindfulness meditation, it has helped me both with chronic pain and anxiety.
I can't find this doll online anywhere, but I bought her at Target. So check there!

These past few years Barbie has been way more accepting about issues like depression and anxiety. A few years ago on Barbie’s blog they covered lots of issues involving those disorders, or just negative feelings in general. I love how Barbie is influencing children now. I could’ve used this when I was younger.

Technically she’s not a made to move, she has made to move legs but jointed fashionista arms. She is beautiful though and I didn’t know that she was coming out!!!

I really like this doll. I don't generally go for the ones that have "electric guts" but as a mental health patient, I can see a lot of potential here. Also, the puppy is terrific for non-verbal communication!

I just had a very stressful day. My car was just vandalized at work and I feel like 20 years was just taken from me through stress. Your videos are so extremely cathartic. I feel like I’m a child again and I can breath again. Although I’m only 19, I still feel like I’ve had to grow up extremely fast and adapt to my adult surroundings. Thank you for reminding me to embrace my youth again.

The new washer is amazing!! It doesn't try to sense anything and I can open it while it is running to throw in that sock I dropped on the way downstairs!!!! It's like the 80's all over again, LOL!!!

Love this video and this Barbie! Having panic attacks, anxiety and OCD, breathing techniques really do help. Like I said to my husband who sometimes just doesn’t get it🙄, mental health issues are not something You can see and fix with a bandaid. Wish there was more mental health awareness and bullying awareness issues when my children were young and having those issues in school. They are adults now and great and compassionate ones too!! I had OCD since childhood and am now in my 60s and only realized in my 50s that’s what I was experiencing! Duh!! I love toys and worked in market research in the toy division until I was laid off. Loved going to the Toy Fair!! Still love Toys🥰. Thank goodness someone created this Barbie. And thank you for keeping me updated on the new toys😄

Barbie's breathing sounds give me anxiety, but this approach to teaching children how to handle their emotions in a healthy way and good coping mechanisms, such as breathing exercises, gives me faith for humanity.

Truth...if I am having an anxiety attack, sometimes focusing on my breathing actually makes it worse. So I either sing or I start focusing on the sounds around me.

I am going to tell my friend about this doll. He teaches kids with special needs (mostly have had terrible home lives). I think he could use this in his class. I have chronic pain from arthritis. Maybe I should look in to this. By the way I am a Christian too. I pray for you all the time. You put so much goodness in the world !

I suffer social anxiety and panic attacks I can only be around people for so long and when I start to feel uncomfortable and start having hot flushes and feel like i cant breath I have to get from that situation fast its a dreadful illness and I think that surrounding myself with the things I love to collect helps me , i havent been able to work for many years through it , some say things like pull yourself together but they have no idea what its like it can ruin a big part of your life on times so thankyou for this xxxx

Unless you have lived it, you really can’t comprehend anxiety. It’s so primal. So deep inside us that it isn’t easy to just snap out of it. But there are some ways we can release some of it and find peace.

This is amazing. I am 26 and just started using meditation to help my anxiety last year. I hope this toy can help some kids out there who might have some anxiety. I definitely had anxiety as a kid about school and other things so I wish I knew about meditation back then. This toy is truly amazing.

I’m an 8th grade teacher. In my public school we have a teacher come in for “Mindful life”. They get a period of twice a week. It works so well for the kids. Also I suffer from anxiety. Breathing helps so much for my sleep and attitude. And I’m also a Christian. You can mediate on the Word if God or on Him, it doesn’t have to be “new age.” This Barbie is amazing!! ❤️❤️

I am dam sure kids Don't need any meditaon, they are free from anxiety why need barbie?? Children's till age 10-11 years they don't have any anxiety or stress if they aren't bullied by someone. Barbie meditation can't relived anything, human anxiety and stress are part of life they won't leave you forever it's useless Whether you're Christian, hindu, muslim, etc who cares..

Cloud Jmi Clearly you don’t have a clue about trauma informed teaching. I work with kids from the projects where property, drugs and child abuse run rampant. I’ve teach children who one or both parents have walked away from them, who might have a family member in jail and hear the yelling screaming of adults if not in their own houses then in their next door neighbors. Where having someone home when they get home from school or go to bed at night is a luxury. Where people are trained to use their fists instead of their words. Where the slightest word can make them flash. Where drugs are sold right in front of them and nobody bats an eye. You have no idea the life these children live everyday. Please don’t judge someone for feeling that teaching these children breathing exercises is wrong. That connecting to them through their culture and training them to have better reactions is wrong. I walk it, everyday. Stop judging and start listening.

Yes! I found you through your color change barbie video 🥰 and now Im going to Amazon to find breath with me barbie! I haven't bought a new one in years and I deserve this! Ive collected and played with barbies until I was 13. At 15 I didn't care what other people thought and I broke out the barbies from storage and ive added many more dolls and accessories to my collection in my 20's and part of my thirties. Im now 40 and still love them! I hope one day I'll have a child to give them to or to my nieces and nephews, that way I'll have passed on the fun and love I've had with them. No joke, I’m 14 and everyone at my school was laughing and making jokes about WWIII and I came home that day in a fog and cried really hard when I finally slipped away to the shower, and just imagining my 6 year old self hearing this news-yeash. I’m very happy toys like this exist, to help kids stay kids for a while. Now at 14, I bury my worries in Star Wars and Harry Potter (lol) but I would’ve benefited so much from this!!!

I’m thinking about getting this for a friend for her 19th birthday when it eventually comes out depending on the price. She has anxiety attacks and has other mental and physical issues and I really think this’ll help her when she has one of those moments again in the future. I actually got this today and googled it to see everybody else’s reaction. I have bad anxiety problems and when I saw this I got it. When I used it I was blown away by how calming it actually was, I have trouble expressing my feelings and that really helps. But I’m mad I can’t bring it to school cuz that would be weird and I’d be bullied. And school is hard for me so that would help me. It’s really a shame I can’t

Im sorry to hear that you have multiple sclerosis, I have issues with pain as well. I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. So I understand the struggle of everyday life. But watching how positive you are in your videos helps me a lot. I love dolls too and I think we need to spread more positivity around and let people know that no matter who you are you can always love dolls and collect them.

Yes, it can be hard for kids to articulate their feelings. It has always been harder for Kaiden because he's on the spectrum. We used a lot of toys and books to talk about feelings when he was little.

I love this Barbie so much - what a great idea this is! I feel like I need her for myself, but my daughter and I can share. I have really bad anxiety and sometimes I need something to help me calm down.

Nice review I like the way you presented the information about this doll,I am thinking about getting this Barbie. As someone with Autism Spectrum disorder(just found out last march) and also with general anxiety disorder who due to a lifelong (Non body image)eating disorder known as Avoident restrictive food intake disorder. Which is more like a phobia than other Ed's I restrict the foods I eat and also includes medication over the counter and prescriptions I cant take anti-anxiety pills. So breathing exercises/guided meditations and taking 20 to 30 min walks helps me cope. I am in my late 30s and some family members dont like my buying toys and comic books and watching cartoons so seeing channels were people collect toys as adults is good to see. Sorry about writing such a long comment just wanted to say what a great job you do with your videos.

This actually sounds like a good idea. I have been dealing with anxiety and PTSD since I was a kid. I could imagine having this on the nightstand after a bad nightmare. I kind of want to get her to see if she can help now. (I tried a few other for kids guided meditation programs, too, and surprisingly, they help a lot).
