Some extra tips here. If he does grab you simply call in a partner and their attack will interrupt it, stopping you from taking too much damage. Also i find it easier to use x factor to completely block out the damage from his full screen laser attack and then wail on him with hyper combos. Hope this helps. :)

if you really want all endings on very hard, always have sentinal on your team. he ends galactus face VERY fast...

Funny how I beat him no problem back when I was just spamming buttons, but now that I actually know how to play the game I have so much freakin trouble defeating this pain in the ass. -__-

I freaking hate Galactus. t doesn't matter how good you are at the main game or fighting other players, Galactus just screws you over.

I tried killing the Galactus your way but in the end all that actually worked was random button mashing

Easy way to beat him without meter: Take Vergil, get as close as you can when galactus comes in, press both H and S attack buttons at same time, spam until dead.

Which difficulty are you playing? the heralds barely (or not) attak at all, sometimes they don't even allow me to atttak

Me remembering I got spammed by that instant kill move 3 times in a row 20 seconds after he comes out.

Weird, he says it's on Very Hard but the Heralds barely attacked him....sometimes I play on Normal and Galactus spams lasers all the fight. I guess it's just luck.

Even on Very Hard its not a challenge. It usually ends the same way every time; using the x-factor right before he launches his lasers that cover the whole screen, or during the charging time of his 1 hit kill move, then using all of my characters hyper combos at once.

how do you beat his "show stopper" move that takes for ever to charge but is a unblockable undodgeable attack?

I usually fill my Hyper bars when fighting the heralds, then when I take out around half of Galactus' health I just X-Factor and do a crossover combination, that usually kills him instantly. If not, then I still have 1 or two bars left to finish him off.

how to beat galactus: vergil

if you playing ultimate MVC3 just make sure that you have vergil alive with 5 hyper combos and as soon as galactus comes in use vergils devil trigger, x-factor and spam him with the judgment cut hyper combo. hell be dead easy.

@MarkRyanIGN Yeah, nevermind about my last comment. Just beat it on very hard and it seems the Galactus fight stays the same on every difficulty. Stage six on very hard seems like their breaking all the rules to the game though. Haven't fought a single person online that was more insane.

Why does my fight never go like this? He just constantly does full stage attacks and the slam down that I cant jump over...

I reached this stage but I didn't succeed. I played as Iron Man, Thor and Nemesis. Well, my only mistake was i put Iron Man's special attack as a Repulsor Ray, I should've put it on Unibeam.

My thing is that I will be behind the hand and in front of him and he will still hit me no matter what, I play Phoenix Wright dodging is difficult.

I found out the hard way that you can get out of Galactus grab if you call your assist in as soon as he grabs you

@puyochannel Don't feel bad. On normal and higher, he has a instant kill combo if you fall into the wrong place. Your life just vanishes. You cant even do any of your combos to fight Galactus.

No. They are not DLC. They come with UMVC3. They have DLC costumes. But the characters themselves, are not DLC.

So the secret to beat him, is to block his attacks, and hit him when he's not attacking, just like every single character on every single fighting game. Do people really need a tutorial for this?

Okay if you're watching this, it probabaly means you can't beat Galactus (therefore you suck). Easy way to do it: Pick team: Ghost Rider, Vergil, Anyone else Use ghost rider for the shinydudes, spam standing H, jumping S, if the second guy comes, perfect. Keep mashing. Use vergil's Standing SHSHSH... On galactus. Then switch to third guy and unlock ending.

O_o So you can actually block his death star beam ? Because that is the most dangerous of his attacks. Those minions are not problem, only bit tougher one is Akuma, that Buckethead is slow and the Dorkmom is even slower, unless you are complete idiot he is hopeless.

I normally have Hulk, Wolverine and whoever I want to beat the game with because Hulk and Wolverine are kinda strong. But for the rest of the time I just block and do specials.

it is possible to get out of the hand clasp you just have to get one of your other characters to attack him right after you get trapped and hopefully he will get hurt and drop you on the ground

this dude spoils the game its a load of wank fighting galactus and really takes you out of the great game thats laid out for you before you fight him, Capcom sucede with a shit cheap boss once again no wonder their company is failing.

This looks more like normal difficulty level to me, on hard and over galactus uses pretty much nothing but the laser beam once you get down to your last character and that point you are fucked.

Come on IGN, This stuff is point less, If anyone need help beating Galactus, then they should play more since its not that really hard on any difficulty

Honestly, I sucked absolute ass at MvC3 back when it came out as I haven't played another fighting game since the first MvC in 1998 yet I still kicked Galactus's ass on Normal. The Arcade mode in this game is piss easy. It's only when I go online that I get demolished by everyone. You have to be fucking horrible in order to lose to Galactus.

I just got the game today and I admit im horrible at this game I lost to Galactus..

I beat him in hard move using the basic moves and button smashing at times. But thats after trying for over ten times. How do u even super jump? how do u do anvancing guard? And how do i do the Xfactor?

Ya know i really hate it when ppl choose characters that are just in plan view over powered just to win and they dont even perfect them they just do the same shit over and over again. i think u should chooce the characters that u ACTUALLY like and not just choose health eater character just to win. Play characters that u really like and if they are overpowered characters then thats good for u. My opinion.

I had problems with this fight but this video will surely help me out. Galactus is awesome, I was dissapointed that his first appearance in a movie was in a shit one. (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer). Oh well, he's still great ibn comics.
