As an adult on the spectrum, I really like how calmly he explains his thought processes while he is playing these bots. This channel has pushed me from a 1200 rating to a 1600 rating. I can’t wait to see which bot he plays next!

Also with the top 3 moves vote, it helps you make better moves overall instead of just being able to find the winning moves in a tactic in puzzle rush.

Brilliant! I love the way you didn’t just edit out your initial defeat by Li. It was so instructive to see you analyse where you went wrong and work out a winning strategy.

44:06 you had Ne6+, your rook is pinning the pawn. That guarantees a trade of minor pieces and it splits black's pawns on the queen side. Black's rook is also out of place and you will gobble up the split pawns, a winning rook and pawns endgame.

More bots! This was a great vid! I have a lot of trouble with the endgame. Watching you gobble up pawns, while keeping everything defended and marching your pawns up the board was very instructional.

I'm a chess coach here in Brazil, and I think my rating is about 2100. I also had a lot of trouble against Wally and Li, and now I'm stuck with Noam (always losing by just a hair...). I thought that I was an idiot, but those videos shows that I'm not. Thank you very much for this series!

@@ivel17 Yeah I've also beaten Noam by a crazy tactic But consistently beating them is a different deal. That's why I practice with bots. It's like blunder training and a calculation exercise. Edit: I'm also between 950-1000.

Very interesting, because Li happens to be the weakest bot I haven't beaten yet (on the "challenge" setting). But then again, I'm a 1200 scrub, so you're not giving me a ton of hope here.^^

A 1200 rated player saying a 2000 rated bot is the weakest bot they haven't beaten yet, loll okay.

@@Optim40 I'm in the same boat. Around 1200 rating, I'm up to Li. Bot ratings are inflated by about 300-400 points and they don't play like humans. They will occasionally make ridiculous blunders and they play predictably. So if you play a sound game, make no blunders and know how the bot plays (through repetition) then you should be able to beat a bot that is several hundred rating points above you.

@@ncs9667 I wonder how you guys are keeping score then. Because if you can consistently beat them then yea. Then you're probably not a 1200 player. A win against 5 or more losses doesn't count. I'm a little over 1800 and could probably win one game against a CM or NM at some point. If you can beat each bot at least 5 times in a row then you can say you've beaten them.

Second game, at 44:07, does Ne6ch, forking the king and bishop, taking the bishop after the king moves (the pawn is pinned), win faster?

@15:00 why would you rotate your knight from d2 to f1 then g3 just to place it on e4 when you could have directly placed it on e4 from d2. That part was so annoying.

I tried the same thing and she just counters it with her queen, Ive tried every opening, I cant see what stockfish see’s and they updated the system since last time you played her

Interesting game...I played against this bot a few times now and being around a 1600 rating i knew it was going to be tough. I have come close to drawing but i am yet to win a game...i trade of all my pieces, but i always lose during a pawn endgame...The bot will break through with a pass pawn. I guess it's to be expected from higher rated AI opponents, but i was suprised to get as far as i did:3

I got mad against Antonio,almost won but he promotes a pawn bc my rook can’t guard the last lane and my king isn’t fast enough to catch it,few more attempts later I made the correct moves and beat him by repeating the earlier moves

I don't know if I'm the only one, but for some reason, it feels slightly easier to play against Isabel than Antonio, even though Isabel is 1600 and Antonio is 1500.

i beat 5 on lichess normally and about 70-75% win against 6. but 7 and 8 are just insanely accurate. especially in the opening the way they do move orders kills me lol

I'm surprised how much you trade your bishops for knights all the time, I would always prioritize taking good square bishops with my bad square bishop or a knight, unless it's a very closed position.

I found this bot particularly stronger relative to it's ELO. it's very strong even when compared to 2300 Francis.

Nelson is a 1300 bot but played like a 700 and Li is a 2000 but plays like a 2250 and then the GM bots play like 300 points below themselves at the endgame, it’s as if you hold on long enough they start messing up, the bots are very inaccurate

@@nivnavion I find wally (1800 bot) to be way worse than li. Li is usually beatable for me in the endgame, but wally is not. Wally also seems to be more accurate when i do analysis.

@@ToddlerAnnihilator666 Wally loves the end game. To beat him, you have to try and do it before you get to the end game. If it reaches end game, it's near impossible imo.

Yesterday Ive managed to beat Li bot for the first time. It took me nearly a year to get to this point from level 0. In my opinion Isabela 1600 is more difficult and better to practice with than Li.

I know what you mean about playing tired. If I'm tired or just after eating, I can't beat anyone above 1500 or so. Normally I can beat the 1800 bots. I used to be able to beat Li about 1 of 6 games, but I think they made her stronger. I have gotten stronger since a year ago and now I can't beat her.

I beat wally in the dumbest luckiest way. I kept moving my middle pawns up and he kept ignoring em until I check mated with the queen. I was so shocked I got him first try... mean while I have had games where I have taken li's queen with a rook fork and still lost....so thats how this bots going. yet to get all three crowns

Li is actualy Under rated, she is about 2250 elo not 2000 cause i tryed Li vs some 2200 bots and Li won all the time so she must be like over 2200. Try to play some 2200 bots and they are easyer than Li

Li prefer short attacking games so you should play a little more carefully in the beginning and middle game.

This chick....I had her twice and screwed up end games ....haven't came close in a while....it doesn't feel right coming out only one square when white but slow rolling playing tight and letting her over extend may be key

I CAN NOT believe it, I have just had a draw with this bot 'Li" which gave me the three stars, and my man lost with 2400+ rating, and my rating is just 900 on bletz and rapid , I think I have to proceed chess as a career 😂. I don't even know a single opening, 😂 all what I do is to check if there is a threat and defend my pieces or if there is a chance to attack, that means online games teaches you more than books and courses
