Kate was the real villain in this movie. Almost everyone’s death can be linked to her. The woman she risked everyone’s life to save...ended up dying. Kate was the one who survived, she’s a good villain, she killed the protagonist which is her dad and all those things they did was in vain because of her stupidity those mothers she had to rescue, well she didn’t bring any back. The smartest guy in the movie was the dude that chose to not go to Vegas. At least he’s still alive.

The daughter is just... She gets countless people killed on the off chance that the person she’s looking for is still alive and acts like everyone is being unreasonable for trying to say no. This isn’t about helping people! It’s about her ego of making herself look like a good person!

Can someone please tell me what the hell was going through the mind of the guy who sent a load of soldiers into a city so infested with zombies that the infected are standing shoulder to shoulder in the streets via parachute. I mean were they trying to feed the rotters like pigeons in a park?

Matthias Schweighöfer (the guy that plays "Ludwig Dieter" in this Movie) is actually a pretty famous german actor. He also is a voice actor, singer, regisseur and film producer. He does a lot of stuff besides all that. He is a really nice and humble person. Great guy.

1- That zombie king helmet looks like a Viking helmet so maybe even a .22 could pierce that. 2- Surely the military could precisely target the zombie infested outer area of the main settlement with White Phosphorus or Cruise missiles.

The soldiers at the beginning, should have had someone operating the mounted machine gun on the roof of the Humvees. The main zombie may shrug off mag dumps of 5.56, but what about getting hosed down by two mounted machine guns?

My favorite stupid point was "It was never about the money." You know whats better than $2 billion? $2.2 BILLION! Dude could've just exfilled out with the EXTRA cash and still profited.

step one, get the code from the guy who owns the safe lol. The amount of plot holes in this movie is hilarious.

Another thing you do is find the electrical diagrams for the building and find out what that backup generator is powering before you try to turn it on. Back up power sources will always supply critical systems like electric door locks, cameras, alarms. These also have built in battery backups which in the movie would have long since ran out but as soon as they get power they will start sounding, potentially leaving you locked in an area of the building you dont have a keycard for with the dinner bell ringing.

Is anyone going point out that the vault would’ve been safe even after being nuked? It’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie but couldn’t they have avoided the hassle and go AFTER all the zombies are dead?

There were so many plot inconsistencies with this movie but it was just so much fun

So am I the only one completely miffed that the crew and tanaka never used the military contacts to lift airspace restrictions and get them a reliable helicopter that could lift the money and then oh and have a shipment of suppressors fall off the back of a truck, suppressors that just happened to fit the crews weapons, they’re going up against a horde enemy that can only be killed by a shot to the head so attracting them with unsuppressed weapons is counter productive this whole heist was off the record and those are 5 star generals so I think they can make records disappear

The Huey would work with the very minimal fuel load they bring and if they stripped the cockpit. I did the math on it before and they would be really close, possibly having to toss a few million or their gear, but if all they needed to do was fly over the wall and then land it would be sufficient. Assuming of course that an engine having been abandoned that long could provide its maximum specified lift.

My favourite part of the entire movie is that little dejected look Tanaka gets when he sees the nuke went off and realises they failed. Like how the fuck are you surprised and disappointed when you actively sabotaged them at every single step with purposeful misinformation about the AO, the plan, the purpose of the mission and the worlds least subtle double agent who starts killing motherfuckers for no reason as soon as he gets a chance. No shit they failed, you clearly wanted them to.

The safe cracker is from a seperate movie where his goal in life was to crack the most famous safes with that one being his last one on his bingo list of safes and in that movie there was news reports of zombies

I am pretty sure Tanaka did not send the previous groups with the intention of getting the zombie sample. But after the first few got in and encountered the alpha strain zombies, some of those groups either left or more well equipped with communicators which allowed the information to get back to him, allowing him to discuss with the army officials we see about the potential sample and its worth. Which would be why this team had his Head of Security join them and the previous squads didn't. Or I am giving the writing too much credit. Probably that.

I watched Army of Thieves first (my favorite of the two) and didn't know it was a prequel to this movie so it was confusing how nobody knew just how absolutely perfect Dieter was for the job or why he was given such little screen time

I'm still annoyed by the way the movie start. A military convoy didn't notice a single car with the lights turned on coming from the opposite direction at night...in the middle of a fucking desert. The car must have been loaded with explosives because, instead of being crushed by the giant vehicle it exploded with such strenght that it made the container fly and the crash was so strong that the door opened by itself. Come on screen writers, i want to turn off my brain and have fun but there is a limit to what i can do!

For my recommendations, I'd avoid using the duffel bags the crew uses, given how much space they'd take up and how heavy they'd be where every pound counts. The casino itself presumedly has bags of some kind to move the money during regular operations. Still, as that would be insufficient for the money we're carrying, the plastic bags used in Money Heist would likely be our next best bet. For moving the money out, I'd prefer to use a semi-truck as they wouldn't require multiple trips like with helicopters. We already know people are breaking into Las Vegas on a regular basis, so depending on what favours we could pull, we could get ourselves some powerful trucks. We'd need first-hand advice on which roads can be accessed, along with non-pop tires just in case. For the windows, I'd simply glue other windshields and windows to our truck assuming we couldn't loot any from an armoured truck or bring it in from the outside. If thick enough, it should do the job. For the rest of the truck, I'd recommend just welding some pieces of metal to the most important places. Attaching a plow to the front will also be recommended although not completely necessary. In addition, given the size of the crew, bringing an armoured van to transport people should also be important. When moving in, the truck should be filled with all the gear we need but also some forklifts and pallets if we can't guarantee them in the casino or the surrounding area. Once the vault is cracked, we'd use the plastic bags and place them on pallets where we'd use our forklifts to move them to our truck. The best location for the truck would be in the loading bay, but placing the pallets as close as possible to the cargo elevator will be critical, so we could probably just reverse the truck into the front entrance and move some slot machines or something. We'd leave the forklifts, pallets, and all the gear we can behind for the journey. For a distraction, we could try something like setting off fireworks on the roof if we find them in the casino, but we could just set the curtains on fire and move out.

Why is it the closest thing to a competent military in a Zombie Movie was shaun of the dead unarmed and untrained civillians get wrekt as they make stupid decisions and panic but as soon as the Military come in it's cleaned up immediately.

FUN FACT: deter actually has his own prequel called army of theives where he does 3/4 vaults this movie is him doing the final vault belive it or not

Honestly what gets me about the military transport of the first zombie is the fact they just used a metal box on a flatbed. I get that gas isn't cheap but seriously. You weld the box shut, but the box in a bigger box, then put the bigger box in an even bigger box, then load it into tank/APC or whatever. Basically I'd want that thing to be covered by so much metal if my transport does crash/gets blown up, the creature would mangle itself from trying to get through that much dented metal.

This channel makes me feel like if any situation was to happen I would survive

When you realise that the hidden objective was to get the queen's zombie blood, you realise how everything that happens in this movie could've been avoided, had they just been open with the group from the get go. Go inside, nab the queen at the first time of meeting, get out and make bank. The Casino guy could've easily paid them what he originally offered, given how valuable the zombie blood is supposed to be... It's way too much of a risk lmao

I love the nickname "Daddy issues", that was good. "your daughter is a menace, you need to zip tie her feet and hands and drag her kicking and screaming back to the entrance". Gold

this movie tried so hard to juggle so many plot elements that it becomes lost on what it should be. And then they tried to give us a train to busan ending w/ only the daughter surviving, but the massive difference is that there's no actual satisfaction from the daughter surviving cuz her entire run was pointless and she didn't even save the people she wanted to save; alongside getting her dad killed

What blows my mind is zombies like in the walking dead are so deadly. There's scenes where someone will get locked into a room of like 5-10 zombies and somehow the person stands no chance, even though it's a rotten braindead person that moves extremely slow and all you have to do is avoid a slow ass bite. All you got to do is Spartan kick them when they get close and your basically invincible

1. An NCO (noncommissioned officer) wouldn’t be in charge of a mission that important. 2. Everyone is required to wear their helmets when driving/riding in a military vehicle of those types. 3. At 2:18 if you look closely at the soldiers rank in the middle of his chest, that’s not an enlisted officer’s rank. It could be a colonel but definitely not a noncommissioned officer. I double checked my understanding on Google which took about 1 min max to verify. My husband is a Staff Sergeant and I’m horrible at remembering things. I was quite proud to have seen those mistakes 😁😁😁😁

Is this a second video on this movie? I know I've watched a How To Beat for this movie, and this channel is the only one I actually watch. I just remember the OG video had the commentator joking about the parachute soldiers whose only purpose was to feed the zombies.

Moral of the story: If you want to make a smart movie with intelligent screenplay and immersive storytelling, don't hire Zack Snyder to direct it. He knows all about over-the-top flashy special effects, but that's pretty much all he knows!

Honestly, the plan to get the unbreakable vault for a stack of bills is stupid in itself. there are many places to hit that would give you a much better return with less risk. (Banks and Jewellery stores would be easier and more portable than pallets of bills and you wouldn't have to access a basement in the middle of enemy territory)

My biggest question is, shouldn't the money be insured? If it is and Tanaka has already been paid by the insurance company for its loss and all of those are documented bills there's a good chance their serial numbers have been put in a database so the government would know if it was put back in circulation. If it wasn't insured and was illegal money why the fuck would he keep it in the states and in paper?
