Doesn't matter what school you go to for lpn. However go the less expensive route with local tech schools. If you do ADN obviously you don't want to wait on a list with community colleges. As long as your school is accredited by your state board of nursing and you can sit for nclex and pass you'll be an rn. If you want bsn after adn you can apply to many online bsn programs that are regionally accredited as most hospitals are obtaining magnet status especially here in Florida.

Don’t waste your previous credits but cash them towards a BA/BS later. After your AAS in Nursing, pad your resume credentials. Then when you apply for a RN-BSN you’ll standout among other prospective candidates. What was your BA/BS major program in anyway? You can convert your former program to buttress your future BSN. For example, if in Psychology you could parlay this towards the foundations for an MSN-NP in mental health. In order to receive a BA/BS based on your previous degree program requires that the last 30-36 credits be completed at the new university of your choice. You only have to transfer your credits. For example, after transferring your previous credits to East Carolina University, take 12 courses & receive a BA/BS in Psychology. Within 3 yrs you should’ve the following degrees: BSN, BA/BS, AAS. Next, will be your MSN-NP and yes, that treasured DNP. Americans nationwide will be expecting you.This is doable!

Can someone tell me what the difference between LPN to RN or LPN to BSN is? Like shouldn't one just go to do BSN and then test for RN license?
@thenextnurse13435 жыл бұрын
LPN TO RN , is a bridge , usually allowing you to skip the 1st semester of RN School , where you would graduate with An ADN degree. A LPN to BSN , im not too familiar with that because they do not offer it much places, however getting a BSN is usually requiring more school and having to take classes in a bachelors level. You can go for RN (ADN) and still take the NCLEX -RN or you can go for your BSN and still test for the NCLEX-RN . It all depends on your preference.

How can you complete LPN to RN to BSN in 2.5 years , when you said that the LPN is 14 months then the RN is 18 months and then your doing the online BSN?!?! You’re already over 2.5 year just to RN. Don’t mislead people! Also, if you went to a for profit school (like Rasmussen) and have already completed your prerequisites from a community college or if you have already obtained your LPN then the tuition is extremely less than $40,000. It’s actually comparable to a straight RN program at a community college. You REALLY should do your research BEFORE you post a video! We need nurses and your setting them up for failure.
