One thing that helped me a lot in my begginings, especially to master grappling time and strike precision, was play some matches with the opponent in neutral, and them, some matches with opponent in the easy difficult. But I warn, will take a lot of time to make it work properly. You will get annoyed, will think about give up of the game, but, after you get practice, and master the details, man, the game is the funniest and most awesome wrestling game ever!!

I just bought the game on the last sale which ended yesterday for 9.99$ grappling was unforgiving I went into mission mode and took me about 30 minutes but finally got timing down to where I can play full on matches now. I’m on PS4 I also reconfigured the controller layout (X is weak, Square is med and triangle is strong) the pin is O and L1 for running and R1 for breathing

For a new video add: How to do corner and top rope moves, throw to apron, running planchas out of the ring, quick slide in and out of ring, using Ukemi, hold opponent in position from behind for double team attack, put opponent on shoulders for double team attack.

PS4, PS5 users: 1. Corner move: autoclinch groggy opp at corner n press down and O. Top rope move: same + press up and O then again O when you grab head on top rope. 2. Throw to apron: autoclinch then press triangle toward apron (experiment the directions). Running dive attacks: i dont know fot sure yet, + got to assign such moves and experiment. I suppose triangle and then x to dive in good timing toward n against groggy standing opponent outside ring. 3. Hold from behind: lift grounded faced-down opp standing at opp's leg, with now groggy opp's back toward you, autoclinch and press R1(use during tag matches). 4. Tag in partner: go to partner's corner and press L1. 5. To call partner for tag: press triangle while you are at the corner(outside turnbuckle). 6. Ukemi: A. Cpu vs cpu settings: higher percentage ukemi on a character allows higher damage received in exchange for spirit points earned to make a comeback by end of match. B. Player vs cpu/player: manually press L1 button in the moment when opp grapples to disable auto-counter of a grapple from opponent to receive benefit of the spirit points(it is a hidden endurance meter that lets you fight back on a losing match by the end sort of) + get some points for match score from audience's awe. 7. Tag team grapple: pull groggy opp after (clinch + R1) toward turnbuckle, tag in partner with L1, partner will initiate clinch, go into the spot and it will transform into tag team clinch then press O or O with any direction button to initiate the tag team grapple on opponent(opp). Apologies if nothing makes sense, because i am learning the game too currently hehe.

PRO TIP (and this video gets it wrong): I've playing this game a lot, as well as maybe 10 of the previous games in the series. I have hundreds of hours of play (not match sim) time on Fire Pro Wrestling world, and hundreds more on Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, and hundreds more on Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium (Super Nintendo). I've also spent time on PC playing World in actual online competitive leagues with other actual players. One thing this video gets very wrong, and it's a basic tip for all Fire Pro players on any of the games... NEVER use the left analog stick. Not for strikes, moving around, Irish whips... or anything else. The game is very much based on which direction you are holding. The controls on World are basically the same as the controls on even the original NES. Meaning the games were made to be played with the D-pad. The D pad is perfect for it. The left analog stick will give you mixed results at best, and cause lots of frustration as you run to the wrong ropes, do the wrong grapple moves, struggle to get to the top rope... and so on. This video tells you to use the analog stick. If you do, you're making things MUCH more difficult for yourself. Feel free to ignore this tip, and play with the analog stick, but you can't say no one told you the much better way. Aside from going through the game menus, don't use the left analog stick for anything in this Fire pro game, or any of the others. This video get's multiple things wrong, and also promotes using exploits which will lower the quality of your matches, and in the process make the game less fun/shorten its game life for you. I'm not going to go through each thing one by one, and I feel bad for people who can't tell the good advice in this video (and there is a lot), from the really bad advice given. For your sake, please listen to me on the D-Pad situation. You will immediately see how much better it works, and how the D-Pad mimics the isometric camera placement in the game, and the directions of all ropes, and the left/right turnbuckles. Just again giving pro tips to players who want to enjoy the best wrestling game series on the market.

Can you skip or quick Sim cp matches in tournament mode instead of watching the entire match? Thanks
@ArachnidSoul
@ArachnidSoul 2 жыл бұрын
@@brandonx7215 Yes you can, but you have to set it up before the first match of the tourney. When you're picking fighters, on the right side of the screen you will see an option to skip CPU matches. I can't remember the exact look of that menu off the top of my head, but it is there. You can get a slide show of CPU matches where the entire match takes 5 seconds, and you get a winner.
