dj13calli I don't understand why people think accepting evolution requires the rejection of the existence of god. It might show that Genesis is wrong, but existence of a god is not counted out. Anyway, we are apes. It's not a debate. You can accept that or be wrong.

Terry Notary plays a very impressive ape impression scene without cgi in the movie "the square" fully recommend it!

I legit thought apes were used in the movie at some point, it looked so real! But to see that it's all cgi is remarkable. What a deep, meaningful and thoughtful performance by those actors! 6 guys to act a whole tribe of apes? Awesome!

I love this guy - he's an amazingly awesome choreographer and animal impersonator. XD It's like when he taught people to act like goblins for the Hobbit movie. It's a pure joy to see him demonstrate these things - in some ways, he is honestly better than Andy Serkis. Andy is better at facial expressions and voice acting though, don't get me wrong, and he's still very ambitious in his motion capture work too. ^^;

Belle Noire If he was actually ACTING in the movie, maybe it would be great. This way, they have just ruined the movie with plenty of CG and 3D plastic looking animals. Way to go! I hope it will cease to be trend in movies and I hope people will return to good old silicone masks which look way more realistic than this garbage of 3D crap. Go make cartoons, not movies.

***** Koba will always be my nr2 after Ceasar and I dont agree with the Koba hate. What you gotta remember is that Koba was kept in captivity for about 19 years, being a test subject and abused. You gotta understand the hate he feels and the feelings of betrayal when Ceasar team up with the humans. Dont get me wrong here, what he did was wrong and Ceasar is the most badass character I've ever seen, but still.

Man, this guy's extraordinary. I remember seeing him do some amazing stuff in the Hobbit special features, he trained the dwarf, elf, orc and goblin movements. He turns actors into their characters, I love it :D

I already admire (good) actors for their ability to portray characters in fictional scenarios with such realism. I can't imagine how much more difficult it could be to portray a completely different species while wearing mocap suits. Bravo.

That intro where Ceasar says "Apes togheter strong" was that even in the movie? I remember Koba saying something like that but it did not sound anything like it does in this video. Had many nerdgasm through out the movie but one of them (this one) was left out :(
