I always thought that your father is something by looking at his body language but i had no clue that he was an IAS officer. The lifestyle your family is a class. The entire credit goes to your father. It feels nice to see such an experienced and well reputed man, being an IAS officer is a matter of pride. Just like your dad said he had been a DM and i must say DM has his set of powers and is no less than a king.

The wisdom embedded there in this interview was immense . I genuinely wish he can start his own channel and give guidance to us youth whether we are upsc aspirants or not . A weekly or biweekly AMA sessions would be my suggestion . I just wish this was a bit longer interview . Enjoyed it a lot . Seeing through the lense of a learned man is a rare opportunity for us as all of us are running the rat race while looking down without clear motivations . The fact that he addressed that he might look up to do something more creative in today’s time should be a clear indicator for the myriad of upsc aspirants that it is not the only thing and it is not the end of life .

Being a govt officer is always a moment of pride for anyone, its an aspiration. My father is also an govt officer he is Asst commissioner at GST department in Assam.Govt job is always respectable in every manner. My aspiration is also becoming an IAS officer
