Great informative video. I had some issues with my starter too. It started with a spinning of the started but not engaging with the flywheel. So I replaced the gear mechanism, and as prevention the plunger as the contacts. Some time after, were the motor brushes failing, with a click sound but not engaging. So in some cases, it becomes more economical viable to replace the starter.
